I have scoured the forums for a similar issue called the ford service dept and can't find an answer. I noticed my windows don't drop before opening, its after the door opens they lower, but the window flops (lots of noise, lots of movement, flopping). When I first looked into this, I was at the dealership picking up a part and asked the sales manager. When he clicked unlock on the fob, the windows lowered.
I have an appointment at my dealership in 4 weeks, but not sure what to tell them about the issue. I called today and asked about the software update and they were unsure. The only TSB for my Bronco was an update for a windshield wiper motor.
How do I fix this?

- The car was locked, by pressing unlock on the fob, the windows dropped 1" so opening the door, the window was free from the rubber seal (so no flopping, catching, or noise).
- Mine doesn't do this. It isn't the same that others have spoken about in the forums, where holding down buttons and "resetting" the memory of the window resolves the window from going out and above the seal (that is not my issue I am seeing.)
