So if Ford made this happen when you put your thumb on the door handle the windows would be constantly going down and up when you're washing the Bronco. Mine already acts possessed when I'm washing it !

Just don’t wash behind the handles!

Valid point though. Maybe a timing sequence would help.

I hope Ford will push out OTA updates for the previous model years.

Just the stream of water hitting the handles does it on mine . I checked my 23 BL this morning and my windows do not index down when unlocking with the fob.

I was just thinking it would be nice if my window rolled down a bit when I grabbed the handle because the window catches as I open the door (the auto drop doesn't happen fast enough)

But the car wash comment definitely made me rethink...my doors click enough just from power washing if I have my keys in my pocket

It was an update with Job2. Had to be built after July 1 or so.

I don't have my Bronco yet...being built 1st week of Jan...but would taking the car key out of your pocket help the Bronco from auto-rolling the window while doing stuff like washing?

Unlock the door, then open and close it. That should stop the drop since it seems to only occur at unlock. Which is pretty lame.
BMW has had this feature figured out for decades. Seems it wouldn't be difficult to copy .

Yes, but it would have to be somewhere not close to the car. Mine only goes down when I actually pull on the door handle. It doesn’t do it by just putting your hand behind the handle.

Same here.

Came here to say this as well.
Washing it would be hell if the keys are in your pocket.
Just getting close to the handles with the wash mitt causes a trigger.

This should have been thing from the beginning. None of the smart ford employees :cautious: that tested the bronco never thought of this?. Seems like such a simple thing to be included.
