So went on a few day trip with my brother in the Black Hills. Found some great trails and forest roads and a couple cool disperse camping spots. Wondering if this will buff out? My brother is new to this style of travel and had him spot me. I should have given him some direction before having him do this about wheel placement and such. Not his fault but my own. I shook it off as it is part of the adventure. Got it it delivered April 28th and 6400 miles on it. First scratch and what a good one to start with. He has a ton of pics of trip but trying to share with me from Android to Apple he is having issues. He had a blast and want to go again. Great bonding time. FYI. He said it sounded like crushing a beer can 😂🍺

Not to sound like the grim reaper here but I don't think this will buff out with a rag and bucket of hot water.. You might need to take it to a shop so they can work on pulling the dent out... Let's see what the others think but I'm sorry dude, I think this might take more work than just buffing out

I'm sure it's fixable without replacing the entire piece. I'd go get it checked out ASAP before it messes the paint up too much though. At the very least just drive up to a body shop and ask them to look at it. You'll get a better response than from most of us. I'm sure there's a couple actual body shop experts here somewhere 😉 (not me)

Replacement fenders are not as expensive as you think...they come unpainted tho...so you will need a bodyshop to spray it for you. I'm gonna order a right front fender to mangle for a snorkle install, and keep my original for "snorkle delete"

Okay, enough on your misadventures. Tell us more about your adventures--offroading Badlands in a Badlands Sasquatch--I so want to do that! I've heard that for all that extensive geography and extravagant topography there's not a whole lot of real offroading. Tell me that isn't so! Any really good (challenging) roads and trails you want to tell us about?

Going between a couple of fallen trees and part that was cut through on the right side was just at the right height. He was videoing it as he was trying to guide me through and did not see it as he was watching the left rear as I was going up and over the other part of the tree. It was low enough that I could not see it. I will post the video he has if he gets it to me. Yep should have taken the time and got the sawzall out to cut it out of the way but Nobody got time for that.

I looked at the maps and such and not many trails at all. It is more a scenic drive and some camping spots with a-lot of hiking trails. Who wants to walk when you can drive. Wanted like $20 to go through check point and would have added about an 1 1/2 to the trip and wanted to get to the hills to locate a camping spot before dark so skipped it this trip. Will look into it in the future and give an update.

I had PDR try and straighten up the passenger side fenders body lines. (Something happened at the factory, the body lines aren't as sharp for about 6 inches, and a small crease, above the wheel well. Dealer said replacement a respray, I said nope... I didn't catch it during my hour long inspection. Silver hides a lot). They couldn't really do much for it since it's aluminum.

I tell you my brief story, cause If you find a PDR guy that can work your issue out, then I need to try finding a 4th PDR guy who can make my fender right.

Look up a PDR (pointless dent repair) place near you. This won't be perfect, but they can get it close enough such that the casual observer wouldn't notice. Unless you are determined to get back to brand new, this will be the most cost-effective option

Also, I'm throwing in this, just because: 😁
