I hate it because every time I forget to turn it off and it activates at an intersection, I wonder "what the hell is going wrong with my engine??!!!" :whew:

I'll leave it activated whenever I travel into Canada.

I’ve noticed in my F150 & Bronco that there is a sweet spot w/brake pedal depth/pressure where the A.S.S. feature does not engage.
Yea, that is a design feature. The idea is that if you are just stopping briefly, you can prevent stop/start from engaging. Good for stop signs or when you can see your light is about to change.

I don't hate it at all. On a manual vehicle, it will only kick in if I put the transmission in neutral and let the clutch out, which are conditions that I only achieve in a drive through :p
