Which CV shaft is correct.

I need to replace my passenger side side Front cv axle. The part # on the factory front passenger cv shaft is MB3W-3A427-AD. However, when searching for new OEM, it seems that this part # pulls up the front left (driver side) . The parts websites list the 428 version as the right side.

Can someone help me make sense? I always order parts as the passenger side being the right side, am I just confused?

MB3W-3A427-AD is an engineering number.

The part number you need is MB3Z-3A428-S

Thanks. It sure would be helpful if they just kept them the same. Even the barcode you can scan on it sends you the left side with the "427" in the part #.

I am currently doing an m190 to m210 swap. I just got the m210 mounted today. I have RCV CV half shafts I got from another member. Trying to figure out which is which. One has a longer spline stub shaft on the diff side. I would think that is for passenger side intermediate shaft? Just trying to make sure that is correct? Haven’t found a good answer searching around.
