Deciding between a 24 wildtrak and 24 badlands non SAS right now. Both are within $1k of each other with current rebates and dealer discounts so cost isn't a factor.

Both are 4-door and have the 2.7L and the high/lux with soft top. The Badlands also has the mid package which is standard on Wildtrak.

Main exterior differences (other than SAS v non) from what i can tell are that the Badlands doesn't have a step or bash plates and the tow hitch installed - I have nothing to tow right now and figure I can install that later on separately if needed.

Interior wise the Badlands has the orange trim seats, the wildtrak has the tan leather with the marine grade vinyl.

This is mostly going to be used as a daily driver, i drive about 20 miles each way on 50-50 highway and backroads. I live in the mid-atlantic so rock climbing isn't something I realistically plan to do much of, my off-roading will probably be much more mild.

Based on research seems like SAS package may make the on-road less smooth at the expense of off-road i don't plan to use. I also love the orange trim and features with the metallic green color that I'd be getting. Open to other opinions, either way fired up to get one soon!

Another thing to consider is while the Wildtrak comes with larger tires that may not be as compliant for on-road use, it also comes with the HOSS 3.0 suspension that might offset that negative aspect. In terms of resale consideration, I'd expect the Wildtrak to have a slightly better residual value over time since it's seen as the 'better' trim than the Badlands from a trim/option standpoint.

The non-Sas Badlands is probably the best bang-for-the-buck Bronco you can get. Sounds like they are both equipped about the same. Are they used or new?

You can always upgrade shocks down the road to something better than either package gives you, as well as tires. I personally prefer the 33" BFG's that mine came with, and I like the styling of the Badlands wheels better than the SAS/Wildtrack.

Badlands does have bash plates. WT doesn't. The WT does have remote start.

With those corrections in mind, the WT will be best suited for your use case. It also has the Fox shocks.

Both new. Both eruption green. Both cost about the same  ... Yeah the big difference is SAS/non-SAS and the step. And the orange trim on the badlands looks super badass to me

Do they have the same suspension as the raptor or is the raptor slightly wider?
Thank you

IMO the Sas has a great ride on pavement, though it was a Badlands Sas I test drove. The Wildtrak has HOSS 3.0, which has different shocks and springs despite still being Sas. I suggest test driving them both.

[Note: SAS means solid axle swap, Sas means Sasquatch]

It's simple, you can't not get the Sas....it's what makes the Bronco truly bad-azz, and your kids will hate you if you pass on it. 🫣

Raptor has Fox Live Valve (HOSS 4?) and an extra 4” width each side for additional articulation (and factory 37” KO2s) - that’s why the fender flairs are so much larger

Wildtrak has Fox (HOSS 3)

Badlands non-SAS has Bilstein (HOSS 2)

All three of those have HOSS 3 steering rack.

Badlands will have skid plates and 33” KO2s. Wildtrak will have 315/70 BFG rock chuckers. Wildtrak will probably have the plastic bumpers, Badlands probably the steel Modular bumper.

For a daily driver, even if part of that is gravel/dirt road - either of these are vastly overkill - but the Fox shocks are really really nice.

If the Badlands has vinyl seats(?), then they are manual and you have the washout floors, leather trimmed seats got you electric seats and cloth floors (or at least at one time).

You did a wonderful job explaining the differences thank you?

My Badlands, Sas, Hoss 3.0 came with 315/70 Goodyears. I thought the Wildtrak also had Goodyears.
