So I asked my buddy, and he's gonna let me borrow the 4:1 T-case from my old H3 and tear it apart and then I can tear down the Broncos case and try to see if there's any compatibility. Keep your fingers crossed!
This is frickin awesome news!

Just a side note so we can dismiss the Flat tow problem as related;

Putting the Bronco in Flat tow mode puts the transfer case into neutral, regardless of 4a.

IF the towing setup does not have a battery charge line, and the towing is for a lengthy period, after a while the battery voltage will drop to the point that things start shutting down. On the 4a transfer case only, this will cause it to shift out of neutral. That usually results in at least the Transmission getting fried if it's an automatic turning without lubricating. this was the common tow failure with the 4A case... So, really not related to the issue in this discussion.

You’re gonna need to help me out with some words to explain what you’re getting at.
Sorry, in between 7 things and doing none well at the moment. The catalogue, at least Microcat, does not have much on the BW-4808 so the illustration is about all there is for Raptor internals for now. The first pic (7G361) is what they're calling a spring. Obviously the following two were of the main shaft and the clutch assembly. Just thought posting them would provide some visual clarity for these three pieces. I have nothing to else of substance to add and have not read the whole thread.

I gotcha. Much appreciated. Trying to go back and forth between the two it looks like the big difference is the unlabeled silver gear mechanism in the normal case and 7G360 in Rappy case? But that could just be not shown in this angle, like how all the other components aren’t shown. Also 7061 vs 7061A? 🤔🤔

This part looks very similar to H3s 4494 4:1 Gearset

The hope is the planetary reduction between the cases swamp around. That would make for a quick gear reduction and testing. I will still be holding out for a 4 speed atlas as I want a higher low range for snow wheeling. I haven't fully decided on 1.5:1 or 2.11:1 reduction for snow. My transmission gets to hot in high range and low range lacks wheel speed.

I'm afraid that the easy part will be getting mechanical side gear ratio changed, and the bitch of it all will be on the software - the AWD/ABS/etc will all pitch a fit because it's expecting 2.72 or 3.0 gear ratio in 4L
