Agreeing with @Headsong, none of those compare to the dreaded double honk. I can keep my hands on the wheel as I’ve never had or wanted a self driving car and I sit far enough back to avoid the light switch. Having a 2door with the rear folded down all the time, ventilation for the rear is having the windows down. There are plenty of annoyances with new vehicles mentioned on this forum that make these things seem like nothing.

Disabling the double honk was what made me fall in love with my Bronco all over again - lol. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself.

Never run into the hands on wheel warning. Never hit the light switch with a knee. Double honk doesn't bother me. Rear ventilation is mostly a nonissue since I rarely have rear seat passengers.

My biggest annoyance is that sometimes the panic alarm gets set off with the keyfob in my pocket.

😲 I have never come across a reliable way to disable the double honk... i would pay:headbang:

2. A solution for the “knee hitting the headlight switch” issue? Probably an “is what it is”, but thought I’d check. 😉
I would suggest getting a 2 door instead of a 4 door. The 2 door is about 4” longer than the front door on the 4 door so that gives more space around the B pillar. The knee bump may also be driver size related. I’m 6’2” tall and haven’t ever bumped the light switch.

My main complaint is the necessity to touch the touch screen to acknowledge various messages. Ford should have the steering wheel “ok” button wired to acknowledge any message. This is a safety issue.

My second complaint is the double honk. I have a 2022 F150 and it has a very subtle ding instead of the double honk. Not sure why Ford cursed the Bronco with the double honk when they have other solutions.

My other complaint has to do with the inconsistency of the steering wheel controls compared to my F150. All of the same controls are on the steering wheels but some are in different locations.

I forgot about that annoyance. My daily is a ‘19 F350. Completely different than the Bronco.

My Top 3
- Noisy rattly hardtop. Wind noise, rear window seal creaking, clickety clackety panel pins. Some fixable but all problems come back shortly. No decent options for two door soft top that will retract fully.
- Poor storage. Yeah, I get that the two door is short. But why the heck does the seat bottom, when folded down, have to restrict seat travel for us tall guys? Why no flat load floor? Why carpets on seat backs? Why does the underfloor storage fill with water in the first roof off shower?
- Overall quality. Manual trans replacement. Wimpy tie rods and rack. Rattly windows. Horrible interior plastics that scratch when you look at them?

6’5”, never once hit the light switch with my knee. Two door. But… you think the dash to seat is tighter on the 4 door.? I get that the B pillar allows easier entry for my a$$ on the 2 door…. Hmmm.

For #1 - there are no actual sensors, if you don't move the steering wheel it will complain. For an easy solution have a few drinks, you will have a tough time keeping a straight line and the nag will never come up. 😀

For #2 - it should reset to the last position used unless you changed the settings in Forscan.

For #3 - someone posted here mounting a fan in the tailgate. Swore that it worked though I struggle to understand how such a small fan can create a meaningful air flow. A more efficient solution may be to make yourself shims that rest on the tailgate and prop the tailgate window slightly open. Should not be too noisy and the Bernoulli effect around the window will draw air towards the back.

crappy satellite service in wooded and mountainous areas. fortunately we only have leaves on the trees for about 3 1/2 months so I am sure it will get better soon.

People hit their knees on the headlight switch getting out? I do it getting in… at least until I trained myself not to.

I did it with Forscan. If I remember correctly, there's even a 'plain text' option, so you don't have to go searching for a specific address. If that's all you do, it's worth the effort. You can really get into trouble trying to do stuff with Forscan, but the few simple things are pretty safe.

I think you meant to say, until Ford trained you. 👍

I do think that not having to contort around the B pillar significantly changes how we get in and out of vehicles.
My wife has an Audi Q7 (4 doors) and I have on occasion bumped the light switch with my knee getting in/out. Somehow it always gets bumped from auto headlights to off. At least with the Bronco, they are all haunted and the ghost cycles the headlight switch to auto after you turn it off. So regardless if you bump the switch to a different position, it will be back to automatic the next time you start it.
