I keep the Tricky Dick tie rod replacement tool kit and a couple of tie rods and the Bronco tool kit in the Bronco. I use the tool kit quite a bit even for non Bronco projects, used the allen keys to fix the kitchen faucet a few weeks ago. I used my points so it was easy to justify the tools. My biggest fear is someone taking the tool roll when I am rolling top off, and have to park somewhere.

having the Bronco logo on the bag and tools is a nice touch.
It can make it easier to spot your tools if there are several people working on a fix.

I was lucky and won one at one of my Bronco meetups. I replaced some of the tools, including the hex plus kit, and added another 12-inch adjustable wrench. I also rolled up one of the cheap tierods in it from Amazon.

So I'd glossed over past Ford Accessories Tool Roll discussions here but seeing this thread, and having recently played "fetch that tool"® just a few too many times, has me paying more attention this time.

Seems like a decent enough start, nothing will ever meet everyone's needs unless they are towing a Snap-On truck, and having logged into the FA site I see I have enough points even before the STAR20 discount (for which I received no heads-up from Ford, odd) so going to go ahead and pull the trigger. I'm also noting potential add-on's as indicated by others both here and the other threads on this topic.

As a 2DR (manual) owner I'm curious - where do you guys stash this? Looks too big for the rear floor cargo cubby - under the passenger seat (no electric motors here)? Or is that what I get if I pop for the $14 dealer installation option?

Not worth it to me. I bought a cheap cloth tool roll from Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F232C3X
and filled it with the tools I need. Used some extras I already had in the tool chest, bought some others.

The dealer install option is just them chucking it in the cargo area and laughing.

I bought one and keep it in the truck and have used it several times ... that way I do not have to pack up my regular tools with every trip. Definately buy it when on sale, if not this time, then the next ... I think I got it when it was 25% off list price a while back.

Good fairly complete set, I wish vice grips, breaker bar and crescent wrench were the next size bigger, they would fit in the roll. I also got the Motley add on kit which fills some voids. Some Torx Plus, bigger cresent, big axle nut socket, belt stretcher.

To be honest though I usually grab my little 40 piece kit out of the Explorer when working on the Bronco at home, just easier to deal with.
