Just got my 2024 back from having the subwoofer rattle TSB work done. It has pretty much eliminated the plastic on plastic type of rattling. However, there is still a metal rattle with harder bass hits. Assuming it's the seatbelt tensioner as previously discussed. Wondering if the sound deadening material could nip this in the butt by reducing vibration to the tensioner area.

deaden it as much as you can and tighten it down. there is only so much you can do to the metal ball though.

Just had an oil change and mentioned the Sub Rattle. Ford now has a service alert out on it and a fix. They removed and installed a new "Hardware" which i think is just a clip. No more noise and I even turned the base up to really test it....

Funny there's a TSB now, my sub developed a truly irritating rattle and I forced my dealer to warranty me a new subwoofer, just for the rattle to come back. I finally tore apart that area before a long trip. Come to find out it was the subwoofer plastic housing bolts (I addressed the top two locations because those were the ones I could get to that night) that is basically plastic on metal. So I mcguyvered a rubber washer/gasket from a thin floor mat and put it back together. Its a little ghetto but completely fixed the issue. Now I can bump my music at max volume and no rattles. Give it a shot!

You'll know it'll fix it before doing it if you have a bass heavy song on and push on the subwoofer housing hard towards exterior on the painted metal quarter panel and if the rattling stops you'll know its not actually a bad speaker. Make sure to put a cloth underneath to catch any falling bolts or washers.

Pictures attached.

I put sound deadening on the inside of the panel in addition to the body. I have upgraded to the mObridge amp and a 10” woofer and there was a lot of vibration in the panel before I put Kilmat on it.
