  1. Need advice on antenna and power routing.

Something to consider. You can mount the radio on top of the overhead molle, and mount the head below. This allows you to route the antenna cable overhead to the rear and not go through the firewall. There is supposed to be a grommet on the passenger side of the firewall, but if it's there, it's...
  2. Easy and inexpensive battery maintainer / charger UPDATED

UPDATE: I have a few very low power draw devices running 24/7 and the 2D was not keeping my Bronco from going to sleep. (I also suspect my battery is weak.) So, I went from one extreme to the other and installed a Noco Genpro 10. I'm hoping it extends the life of my battery. I used 3M adhesive...
  3. Keep It Like New

If you don't already know, PPF - Paint Protection Film. A full wrap would be covering the entire vehicle. You can also cover just the areas that are most prone to damage. It's not cheap, but it's the best way to avoid rock chips and scratches. Do your homework, there are several options and lots...
  4. Keep It Like New

Mine will be 3 years old in 2 weeks and still looks great. The very first things I added were mudflaps and PPF on the leading edges and rocker panels. If you do PPF, get as much as you can afford. The folks that were able to do a full wrap can run through the trees and not get pinstripes. It's...
  5. Using factory pre-run wires for always-hot accessory power (bypassing upfitter switches)?

If I remember right, it involves running a hot wire to the upfitters and a little reconfiguration. I've been looking for a new project to occupy myself with...
  6. Using factory pre-run wires for always-hot accessory power (bypassing upfitter switches)?

I used the upfitter wires to the passenger side rear to connect a step up power converter for my starlink. I really wish there was an easy way to make the upfitter switch always hot. From what I read, the fuse swap does not work on the (2023) Bronco. This is a major fail in my opinion.
  7. Anyone making a Bronco-specific door lift device yet???

I have been wondering what they use in body shops. Google has some surprising results...
  8. 5 tire rotation is no joke!

I do mine one at a time. And I jack it up just barely enough to get the tire off, so I don't have to lift the tire to get it on. No jack stands needed. Now getting the spare on the tailgate, that's a challenge for an old man. I figured out how to use a patio chair to prop the tire on so I can...
  9. Starlink Mini Setup / Power?

It's two separate pieces. I had to cut the end off of something to wire them together, I don't remember exactly how it came. Very simple install.
  10. Starlink Mini Setup / Power?

I have the step up power converter mounted behind the plastic trim panel in the right rear, and wired to an upfitter switch. I used the accessory wire that is factory provided for the upfitters and runs to that location.

  12. I guess I am old. What else have you noticed.

Do you get extra points if you know that's not for a Chevrolet?
  13. Sound deadening

I did soundskins everywhere but the doors plus armorlite flooring. Totally worth it, it's a quiet ride and it improved how my upgraded audio system sounds. The doors will get done eventually.

  15. De-Carpetted my 21 BigBend

Find the YouTube video for Armorlite installation and you will get an idea what it will involve. All of the plastic trim panels plus the seats will come out and go back.
  16. De-Carpetted my 21 BigBend

Armorlite is the best floor liner. If you want a true washout floor leave it bare. https://goarmorlite.com/collections/21-current-bronco-4dr/products/front-rear-flooring-21-current-bronco-4dr
  17. Decal Placement

I wish they were Velcro patches on my headliner instead of unused stickers in my toolbox drawer.
  18. If you are considering a Ham Radio, now may be the time

The best answer might be the one that fits your budget. All of their products are good. There are websites that will teach you how to pass the test. A few days of study and you will be ready.
  19. If you are considering a Ham Radio, now may be the time

I got my license in January only because I wanted more than GMRS in my Bronco. It opened the door to a fantastic new hobby. I am having so much fun, and the technology I have in my Bronco now is over the top. My first radio was less than 20.00 and fits in my pocket. People wait all year for the...
