I've heard the bolts can loosen, but I've tightened them plenty. Recorded this video today, it appears to be the speaker itself? I'm not crazy, that's not normal right? Only some songs at lower frequencies, trying to figure out my next step because it's driving me crazy when I have it cranked up because the top is down.

Just went through this on my B&O sub. Took me three tries but believe I got mine solved pretty good. Bought the Dynomat knockoff version Amazon branded and worked good. I took the sub box out put the Amazon sound deadening all around that I could. Also took the sub out and put a small amount of poly fill in the box.

What I think helped in winning the rattle battle was applying the sound deadening on the sub box. I believe that the corners on the right side top and bottom were slightly making contact with the metal around the box.

Either way that B&O sub is junk. Not sure what is available to swap it out. I’d guess a shallow 8” 4ohm sub could be used to replace the factory one.

Is it under warranty? Same thing happened to mine. Even when I lowered the bass setting. I took to dealership and they replace the whole sub under warranty.

No I'm out of warranty now, unfortunately.
