I’ll stick with Guacamole bacon burger from Carl’s Jr, or just a good ol’ whopper.

@Valhalla we’re gonna need an updated list that includes burgers
We had a Carl's Jr for a while and it closed. Also a Deltaco, same. In their defense, it was a bad location. But the Five Guys in the same place is still... there. 🤷‍♂️ And a quesadilla spot thrives where Deltaco was; the Carls is a bank. So maybe it wasn't location?

My picks for fast food burgers, if we're totally pivoting this fast food (any fast food duck?), would be rural (TX?) Dairy Queen burgers, then Wendy's, then In 'n Out or WB (tie goes to In 'n Out since it's still a novelty here). Honorable mention to Texas Burger which are few but sometimes excellent, sometimes not, and always very slow.

Gaslighting is the term you’re looking for.

And by the way, you don’t create a 23 page forum thread without turning notifications off, cause their email is blowing up.

BTW, the placing of toys on vehicles, is that limited to Broncos and jeeps, or does it extend to Ferraris and Lamborghinis? Wonder how lambo5g (or whatever it’s called) would react…
I have Ferrari and Lambo friends who do the opposite. They have trunks full of HotWheels/Matchboxs of their ride that they hand out to kids and kids at heart who show interest.

Gaslighting is lying and manipulating someone until they question their grip on reality. Y'know, like turning lights on and off from a hidden switch and then claiming you didn't see it when someone else does. (It's from a movie.) God help us if this whole ducks thing becomes some gaslighting exercise.

Maybe I'm missing what you referred to, though.

I think she was lying about her motive for putting ducks on vehicles, and yes, the other forum members are losing their grip on reality. 😉

With all the deception in this thread, maybe the OP only identifies as a "She"

Yep that is me... LOL
At 62 I feel like I am slowly becoming the "Get off my lawn" guy. I live on a boulevard in my subdivision. Speed limit is 25 and I swear people are doing double that as they come up flying around a blind corner. I always stare at them and shout "Slow down!".

I'm tempted to stand out there with a hair dryer pointing at them like it's a radar gun, but that might get me shot.

In 'n Out, Whataburger, Portillos. They're local favorites because people tend to eat there and get used to it. I would eat a Whataburger before McD's most days, but some days I feel in the mood for a cheap cheeseburger. Texas used to be full of drive-in's that made burgers like WB. We've had an In 'n Out here for about 10 years and I've gotten to where I like going by there now and then too, it's a good burger, especially with the grilled onions, but it's not super special. I still don't see the attraction of Five Guys. And the one time I ate at a Portillos, I had a chicken sandwich, so I wouldn't hold that against a sausage house... lol
Born, raised in Chicago and lived in the area for 44 years. Portillo's was one of my favorites. The lines at lunch and dinner time surpassed those of a Chik Filet Grand Opening. The founder started the business out of a little hot dog trailer in the city. True "rags to riches" story. You should see his home in Naples, FL.

Sadly, the quality has dropped since he sold it and it has gone corporate and they've expanded. They've opened a couple here in Michigan. Haven't gone there yet because I hear the food is nothing like it used to be from those early days, however it'll probably be better than what I'll find around here.

No, I am convinced OP was trolling. I clicked on her profile yesterday to look at previous posts on a whim, and saw that she'd posted to one of these duck posts back in March I think it was. Given she'd already participated in a thread like this, she had to know what the reaction would look like.
In the Midwest we call that a Drive-by.

Again someone makes a nice post asking simple question and the goons come out to troll.

Why does the vocal majority on here have to crap on every single post.

Such a good community with some real "tough guys" in it from their keyboards.

OP nothing wrong with your post.

Happy happy kumbayah says the waving Duck man... (Smile... 😁 )

You are right we all would benefit from being a little nicer....

Including acceptance of those who do not appreciate waving or ducks....

Personally I am good with either but I will die on the hill protecting the rights of those who do not like waving or ducks. I will admit the "discussions" become a bit over the top animated and disparaging from both camps. It would be nice if we could eliminate the ad Homonyms.
