It's pork roll Bob.
Taylor is a brand, not a product.
Not all tissues are Kleenex. Not all cars are Fords. Not all pork roll is taylor.

"Let's get ready to rumble...."
Right?! It's been Pork Roll since the early 1900s, not to mention there's other brands in the game since then.

Man is this the truth. Was excited to try Whataburger because of the way it was hyped up by the Texans. McDonald’s. It’s just McDonald’s.
In 'n Out, Whataburger, Portillos. They're local favorites because people tend to eat there and get used to it. I would eat a Whataburger before McD's most days, but some days I feel in the mood for a cheap cheeseburger. Texas used to be full of drive-in's that made burgers like WB. We've had an In 'n Out here for about 10 years and I've gotten to where I like going by there now and then too, it's a good burger, especially with the grilled onions, but it's not super special. I still don't see the attraction of Five Guys. And the one time I ate at a Portillos, I had a chicken sandwich, so I wouldn't hold that against a sausage house... lol

Okay, I'm caught up.... no one has heard from the OP. Do you think there was a duck placement mishap? Burbon. Rather stay at home and grill my own burgers. Never really did the north east the speed limits are to slow. Why do so .any of you try to decide if people need mental help based on 6G? Now has anyone tested to see what fuel .image they get after a gifted duck?

No, I am convinced OP was trolling. I clicked on her profile yesterday to look at previous posts on a whim, and saw that she'd posted to one of these duck posts back in March I think it was. Given she'd already participated in a thread like this, she had to know what the reaction would look like.

Pretty sure she posted the same thing on a facey bronco group and received a similar response.

Five Guys and Whataburger quality dropped and prices rose as they expanded. If you had had a Five Guys Burgers at store #1 where they passed the buns through a hole in the wall from the bakery next door, you would understand the original appeal. Unfortunately store #1 and the bakery are gone now. Torn down and replaced by a CVS.

In N Out is great for the consistency, but while a decent burger, is kind of plain once you get past the novelty.

I’ll stick with Guacamole bacon burger from Carl’s Jr, or just a good ol’ whopper.

@Valhalla we’re gonna need an updated list that includes burgers

I hear ya, it's just I know several people who wax lyrical over the way it is now. I do like the fries. I don't get a crapton of toppings, though, so it may just not be my thing.

I think the consistency and the crunch of the toasted bun with the sauce makes it easy to recall what makes In 'n Out good: its the bite. When a Whataburger is really good, it's pretty similar, but WB ain't consistent. Back in the day the 2am post-bar in the college days was the chicken strip meal with gravy, Texas toast and onion rings. I don't know they even have that combo on the menu anymore. But the basic bun + chopped onions and lettuce + mustard + patty can still be pretty good when done well. And where else is a small coke a 64oz mega chug with a foot long straw??

The original Chili's in Dallas was supposedly great, with the original homemade recipes. Then they turned it into a regular store and it closed. I can vouch that the original Golden Corral buffet was pretty good, not the gross monstrosity it is now (but the bread is still really good).

Gaslighting is the term you’re looking for.

And by the way, you don’t create a 23 page forum thread without turning notifications off, cause their email is blowing up.

BTW, the placing of toys on vehicles, is that limited to Broncos and jeeps, or does it extend to Ferraris and Lamborghinis? Wonder how lambo5g (or whatever it’s called) would react…

Lamborghini started off making tractors, so you put a big ole dirt clod on those.
Ferrari is the prancing horse, so they get a horseshoe. Those guys are bucks up... So a REAL horse shoe.
None of this plastic or cheap rubber stuff. 👍
