Growing up in the 70s-80s we spent all summer outside unsupervised. We played tackle football, smear the qu**r (probably can’t say that anymore), baseball (stickball) with a tennis ball, basketball. When it came down to picking teams the kid with the fancy new cleats was always picked last. Watch out for the kid with the holes in their shoes. Times have changed.
I was always picked first for basketball because these racists assumed tall=likes sportsball=good at basketball=win. Joke was on them! Turns out tall just means…I’m tall. Literally did nothing to earn that nor use it for anything beyond grabbing things off the top shelf.

I was pretty average at everything, definitely not very good. But back then most of us realized fancy uniforms weren’t gonna change anything.

People really feel personally violated by having rubber ducks/donkeys/mules/sasquatches placed on their door handles as a friendly gift? Wow.
I understand those who think its goofy, weird, or wasteful, but some of y'all should really seek a good psychologist.
So... Those of us who don't want our personal property messed with need to see a shrink, and people who want to place random things that chances are people don't want so it makes them feel better don't?
I think you have things backwards.

It’s a rubber freaking toy on your hood or door handle in a public parking lot. Far from messing with your stuff.🤪 Good grief, Sneaking by your badly parked truck and rubbing a Levi’s rivet will do more damage.

Question unsuccessfully dodged.
Who more than likely needs a shrink... The person who just wants their property left alone, or the person who wants to touch other people's property to make themselves feel better?
Please share your answer with the class.

Kinda just the nature of humans these days. Bronco with all kinds of ridiculous crap bolted on to it that achieves a look of performance will get ridiculous amounts of attention. When in reality it performs worse than stock. Then you’ll have something that’s truly impressive but not covered in stickers and adhesive-backed carbon fiber, requiring onlookers to actually know what they’re looking at- Meh. Moving on. Or talking shit. Had a dude talk shit about wifey’s ride. Called her out when she referenced it as a “build” because she has stock wheels. And of course, homie’s “build” was puck spacers, fake beadlocks with 37’s, and some lights.

Wait-what are we talking about again? 🤔
I've been trying so hard to not reply to this, but I can't help myself. The level of sheer audacity astounds me. I go and check your threads and updates because that shit is badass. Not for me (my budget really), but man, mad respect for what you and your wife are doing to her ride. That's just cool as shit, and all of those mods have PURPOSE (unlike 37s on a truck that doesn't do anything that requires them). And your wife's out there with a MFin welder doing it HERSELF. Not installing some cheap chicom light kits...she's out there welding in long travel suspensions to go with her front portals (I think; you have so many damned wildtraks it's hard to keep track of), and it doesn't count, because her stock wheels do what they are supposed to do and don't require replacement? If I were that dude I'd be ashamed thinking that his fake beadlocks are somehow more legit than...the contents of your build thread. I'd be surprised if you don't have more money wrapped up in just your mods (not even going to count the fact that it's Wildtrak 3 or 4) than he has in his entire 'build'.

You must be new to this site to bring this up. Bronco owners are way too cool for this sort of thing. We are better than everyone else. Don't you dare touch my Bronco!! And don't even think about waving unless you want to get the finger in return.

I'd much rather no one touching my vehicle. I had someone put napkins in my door handle and wrote nice bronco on it. I would never think to touch someone else's car, let alone put napkins in their door handle.

Now I know exactly what build thread you reference!

@SierraBronco ... re: talking shit
I may have talked shit about welding in shorts , LOL !

... and then this weekend, one guess what we were wearing when I was teaching @HoosierDaughter how to operate a port-a-band and grinder, making up a stainless reinforcement plate for the boat. LOL!
Had our safety glasses and gloves on though ....

Safety Third!

Pretty much about how I feel as well , but it doesn't bother me if/when I get ducked.
I rather the duck than some asshole writing "wash me" in the dirt or dust. I might just lose my shit at that point.

Do we need to talk about the mini-assholes touching cars at car shows?
Just saw that happen recently, kid grub fucking a Super Bee ... owner was super polite, "Please don't touch the cars."

Of course entitled Dad /Chad/Karen got upset because HIS little asshole could NEVER do any wrong ..."it's just a kid, relax..."
I ALMOST spoke up ... but instead, just let it fade away.... not my fight today.

Control your little fuck trophies.
