Ok - I get it. Personally, I pay any Bronco compliments in person, so while I do advocate for people to do what they want, it’s your choice to take it as affront to your security. Congrats, you win the award for making the Bronco community less amicable. Your parents must be so proud.
So... How does wishing to have a conversation with another owner rather than doing a drive by drop off make the community less amicable?
I go to shows and talk to people, hand out stickers and patches, talk with people at stores, gas stations, etc.
Offer advice to people asking questions, moderate bronco groups.
Go on trail rides, work with people to improve their performance and driving.
No... It is not people like us who are making making the bronco world less amicable.

So... Knowing that many people don't want their personal property touched, do it anyway?
Because they MAY not be against it?
I don't want what these people are putting on my vehicle, but let's keep some perspective. When your vehicle is out in public, sometimes it's gonna happen, somebody's gonna put something on it. You really can't control that; I get flyers and whatever semi-frequently, I just throw them away. Sometimes they aggravate me, but I know it shouldn't because I'd rather not be on blood pressure medication. It is what it is.

Might be a rhyming, your ducks make me sighing.
A polite interruption a short discussion, I'd be wary but not so hairy.
And new rap star was born...

Ran into a Bronco owner with a few ducks up on their dash. Talked to them, they said, a few Jeep owners, understanding it was a Bronco, still handed them a duck. Their opinion was to display them along with the seated horses, horseshoes, and patches. Their choice doesn't bother me.

I've been handed such. I'm fine with that. Not had anyone leave me anything on any of my Bronco's yet.

If someone wants to leave a nice, new Bronco cap 🧢 that doesn’t have cooties on my side mirror, I might be ok with that…nah, I wouldn’t trust that it wasn’t infested with something gnarly.

Q: Who are the real winners in this debate?

A: Amazon and the junk companies that manufacture plastic crap that we use to fill the gaping hole left in our souls by late-period capitalism. Because connecting with other humans is apparently impossible at this point without the help of Chinese plastic and/or The Algorithm.

Blood pressure isn't up at all.
I don't get angry, I just can't understand the disrespect that has grown in the automotive community.
It used to be that pretty much everyone understood "Look but don't touch".
You admired with your eyes and not your hands.
I go to shows all the time, and have seen parents putting their kids on $200k vehicles for a photo op.... So it isn't just Jeep and Bronco people.
It seems to be an entitlement mentality that is growing across the board.

And that's the difference, handed to you.
It was a personal interaction, which is what the community should be about.

My parents were quite proud actually and told me so several times while they were still here. They taught me right from wrong, to have respect for other people's property and were happy that I showed that in my every day actions. Quite telling that you would try and turn that around to infer that I make the Bronco community less amicable. SMH, did you even have parents around to teach you ?

I see both sides to the story. Each have their valid points. I say do it just watch how much you do it.

The main thing that bothers me is when people have all of their ducks on the dash from pillar to pillar (with multiple rows). I’ve seen too many jeepers and Tesla owners do that which seems a little excessive.

My blood pressure might be up but it could be from taking too much testosterone 🤔

Had a guy in Moab park next to our bronco and wait for us to get done eating as he absolutely loved it. Turned out to be an awesome guy and we became friends all because he wanted to talk about our rig. Another couple did the same thing and we ended up staying an extra day to take them on Hell’s Revenge. Also made a bunch of Forscan changes to their Bronco for them.

Having a conversation means way more than a drive-by dicking, as much as I like dicknballs

Tagging another Bronco. What should we use? Here's the thing about Jeep Ducks. They are cheap, easy to get, and come is so many different combinations that they're coll. Every Jeeper has a stash and they are 30 - 40 cents each.

Everything I see people putting on a Bronco are $3 to $5 and varies so much from horse shoes to horses. To make it work, the community would need to settle on 1 thing, and it has to be relatively inexpensive.
Only thing tagging my bronco should be gift cards!
