I really like the Stroppe, but pricing is why it's flopped. Even as a 2 door owner, if I went to a dealer and saw the Stroppe next to a Braptor, and they were nearly the same price, I know which vehicle I'm leaving with. It needs to have its MSRP dropped by at least $10k.
Has anyone tried to build a comparative Bronco? The closest one can get is a 2-dr 2.3L/10spAuto Badlands LUX Sasquatch HOSS 3.0 Painted Top. That still ignores the Heritage Fenders/Flares and 2.7L.

One can make the assertion that ALL Broncos are overpriced. But based on the current pricing, the Stroppe is fairly priced (ignoring the polarizing livery).

Again, for me, for $4k more, I'm in a Braptor. That's too close in base MRSP for what amounts to a loaded Badlands with funky paint. I'm glad the Stroppe exists, as I think it's a neat vehicle, but it's obviously not selling well, and I'd point to the price as a major reason.

But the "$4k more" is only a result of the Braptor being a dog on sales lot and the resulting reduction of it's MSRP.

The Stroppe really isn't targeting the buyer that is focused on performance. A pros/cons list between the Stroppe and Braptor will heavily favor the Braptor especially with the discounted MSRP of the Braptor in mind.

But for the Bronco enthusiast who appreciates the nod to it's heritage, you can't build a comparative Bronco for the money. Now, I accept the livery can be polarizing for the average buyer especially those who aren't aware of the history.

I think a lot of guys when it came out compared it to the HE which equipped with the 2.7 came priced out at $55k. But you are correct in the pricing now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the standard HE only had the MID package and the HOSS 3.0 shocks were not an option.

But starting a Badlands build today with LUX Sasquatch HOSS 3.0 puts the price near $70k. Still no way to add the Heritage fender/flares or the 2.7L to any 2-dr today.

Now, I accept that the livery isn't for everyone. And the pricing when compared to the reduced Braptor MSRP doesn't make sense. But Ford isn't going to push the price down when a 2.3L/10spAuto Badlands LUX Sasquatch HOSS 3.0 shocks is at 69k.

Pricing on all Broncos is too high and should be reduced across the board and not just with incentives.

Yes Sir, it was missing the Lux package ($2400?), and Fox shocks ($2800), and I'd imagine some leather seats(?).

I think the comparison is with the HEL as opposed to the HE.... And they are similarly optioned and similarly priced.

I think some would, but then the HEL was supposedly a "limited edition", where the Stroppe is simply another trim. And some might say that the HEL, had a tough time selling the set limited amount, since they are rotting away on lots still.

I am referring to the "BUILD" nothing else..... The HEL and the Stroppe have the exact same options from the factory. They are both a Badlands with every option box checked. Their appearance is different but that is it.

The HEL didn't have the HOSS 3.0 shocks standard, did it?

No the HEL did not have HOSS 3.0 - it had the HOSS 2.0. Other differences, the Stroppe has fiberglass, paintable fender flares and the Stroppe has the Modular front bumper while the HEL has the capable front bumper.

We have a new 24 BD 2dr mid on our radar, but I am dragging my feet actually buying it as its still 46-48k and doesn't have any of the new cool stuff, but thats not why I am dragging, $$$ it should be a 42k bronco.

And I believe the Stroppe has the rubberized flooring while the HEL has carpeting.

I was in the not for me livery camp but after rolling with this Bronco for a week in the desert it really is a good looking vehicle.

The craziest thing about this Stroppe and that CG Everglades on the other side of my Glades that is disguised as an HEL those are both Rental Broncos.
