I bought the dc house 100ah battery, it recharges through 60w usbc that's built in (you can charge it through the rear 110v outlet) and i got a 12v to terminal socket set. It offsets the power consumption of my fridge and starlink. The whole setup during the holidays ran me about 150$. Its a 1kw hour battery so it'll last a while with no charging.

I know I'm late to the conversation, plus I didn't read the thread

I have this Coolgear device, hard wired to my Scosche M8RIX. Works great so far, haven't run in more than a day straight so I'll find out this summer if it can run Starlink ~10 days straight. I ditched all the 12v cigarette plugs/sockets on my gear, switched to SAE connecters or hardwire. After a week on the WA BDR I was done f'ing with trying to keep multiple cig sockets connected/not broken.

I'm probably using mine more than most - Our shop has no cell signal & we're not allowed to connect our phones to the company wifi network.
Since it's 2026 & super annoying to not have a working phone for 8 straight hours & I can see my Bronco from my office, I use my starlink mini every day.

I got a 100ah battery from DrPrepare - I think I paid like $129 for battery & the hub.

Battery is AGM, gets charged by the 12v plug in the cargo area anytime the vehicle is on & I plug it in once a week to "shore power" to keep it topped off.
Then the starlink is powered from the 12v plug on the battery hub.
Cable is ran behind the trim pcs & over the passenger door (behind the airbag) & comes out at the B-pillar

Starlink itself is mounted under my softtop on the RC overhead Molle panel.

I used the upfitter wire that’s run to the rear and tied it into switch one. (I’ll probably take it to an accessory circuit to free the switch up.) I have a portable power supply for when I want to run it when the Bronco is not running. The American Adventure Labs Starlink mount finally came and worked perfectly on my DV8 overhead molle.

How well does the American Adventure Labs molle mount fit the DV8 overhead panel? I have the same overhead panel, but I haven't had much luck finding details on the spacing of the holes in the AAL mount. Also, does everything still fit ok if you have the front roof panels on?

How well does the American Adventure Labs molle mount fit the DV8 overhead panel? I have the same overhead panel, but I haven't had much luck finding details on the spacing of the holes in the AAL mount. Also, does everything still fit ok if you have the front roof panels on?

What mount is this for the radio control/mic? I'm gonna be running my mic to be hoverhead like this & that looks like a pretty nice setup - how is it offroad? doesn't come loose & fly around?

It's made up of RAM mount components. Kinda pricey, but bulletproof. It's a little tricky to get the mic clicked into place while driving, but it will not come out of the mount without releasing it. I have it setup to slide in horizontally. Honestly, I already had all the pieces from another setup, I threw this together thinking it was temporary. But I really like it!

Also, I found an adhesive mount that will hold anything with a belt clip. That's what the handheld radios and the flashlight are mounted too. it's cheap and works great.

Works great. The higher the voltage, the better the connection and the faster it connects.

I have the step up power converter mounted behind the plastic trim panel in the right rear, and wired to an upfitter switch. I used the accessory wire that is factory provided for the upfitters and runs to that location.

It's two separate pieces. I had to cut the end off of something to wire them together, I don't remember exactly how it came. Very simple install.
