Shouldn't be 100K

I've been looking at Raptor's for the past month or two and I really want to buy one but I just can't get over the price. I know most are selling +- $15,000 below sticker price but that is still a lot for what you get. I bought a 2024 Mercedes GLS 450 for my wife about a year ago and it was about 96K and I feel as though it was kinda my reference point for a 100K vehicle. I fully understand the target market for a Braptor and a GLS are totally different but there really is no comparison. I'm most likely gonna bit the bullet and get one if I can get what I want for around 75K but I just wanted to bitch a little.

22 and 23’s under 15k miles going for mid $60k right now. Seems like a steal when a lot of 4 door 2025 non raptors are hitting $60k+.

Yeah, I don’t agree with that. I can think of other vehicles to spend $100k on, and a Ford is not one of them.

I love mine but it's definitely not worth 100k. I paid 92k OTD for my '23 and took delivery December 2022. I own multiple vehicles and don't easily sell any. I don't ever plan to sell this but honestly I think money is better spent(esp for enthusiasts) to modify a lower trim to your own liking.

Original MSRP was much lower just like the regular Bronco. My 21 Badlands was $8k lower MSRP than it is now for the exact build! Ford got in on the mark up game. I like the Bronco and Braptor but my Badlands was a reasonable $46k MSRP for what you get and its intended use. Braptor gets a bigger motor, beefed up suspension and some big fenders. To me it’s a $75k max. For $100k I’m buying something else, probably a fast car and then get a cheaper 4x4 for off-roading.

Ive seen posts of people getting leftover new Raptors for $75k ish but it’s potential just a very low mileage 2 year old vehicle once you drive it off the lot so will depreciate quick.

Used Raptors in the low to mid $60k now. I would def buy used if I were in the market for a Raptor

The reality is that a $100k Ford has the exact same build quality as the cheapest base Ford Escape. I still remember a co-worker parking his brand new GT350 next to another co-worker's Ecoboost Mustang and they both had the exact same panel gaps and front rear bumper sagging. Conversely a Ford buyer that opts for the cheapest Ford vehicle available can feel good that the build quality of their new vehicle is on the same level as the most expensive Ford offerings on the lot.

We've got the GLS450 as well, bought new in 2020 right before the craziness started for about $90k. 75k miles on it now, has been great (minus the rear tires every 25k miles). So I know your reference point, and will totally agree with the others in saying that $100k is not worth it. Either get a used one if you really want one of those. I have a 2024 OBX that I ordered last Christmas, delivered in late May. Every option possible minus Sasquatch. Updated the tires on stock rims, love it and get compliments everywhere I go. Even had an offer a couple of weeks ago all cash for what I paid for it and what I added onto it from IAG. All-in, roughly $67k for mine, but will be with me for at least a decade if not more. If you want a Bronco and you're used to the GLS, then you want to get as close to the luxury as you can get FIRST. The 3.0t engine in the Raptor I'm sure is a riot, but the other two engines aren't exactly slow or underpowered either, especially considering what the vehicle is, which when it comes to the GLS, will always fall short in terms of cruising comfort, and it should. Once you've had a Bronco for about a week, that GLS quickly begins to feel very very much like a minivan, I 100% promise you that.

That being said, they're falling in price and value across the board. It's a car you want, not a car you need, and they're not selling particularly well in this current environment.
