Put some Baja Boss ATs on today. Got a price match down to $240 a tire which is a steal. Walmart randomly had them priced that low on sale last Friday. They are back up for $370. Don't mind my naked wheels. Tires look bigger I assume from the squared off tread. Steering response is much...
Costco is cracking down on load ranges. When I put in my Bronco info the only options that come back are C load. It used to show all the way up to E but it doesn't anymore. I assume trying to reduce complaints from ride quality.
Thanks for the photo! I don't believe Goodyears revs per mile for this tire being 600 when the MT is 608. But I'm hoping to are a little truer to size.
Mickey Thompson or the K03 in D load are what I want. But I want to get 5 so the spare matches the same size. That's a cool $2-$2200k with current prices. Trying to wait for the next dealer buy 3 get 1 for $1 sale to look at prices.
Anyone run the new RT in snow yet? I've got 43k miles on the original MT and they have noticeably less traction than last winter. I was happy with them last winter. I really want something different but having trouble stomaching $1600-$2,000 for tires when I can get the RTs for $800.
Wheels and tires look awesome. The Falkens look huge compared to stock. I really love them but concerned about cold weather and the weight. I really shouldn't be concerned about weight since I average 17.5 mpg anyway lol. Can't get much worse.
D Load K03 in 315/70r17 is available as of last week!! Tire rack is showing them now. I contacted Discounted Tire and they still don't have them in stock. I am trying to wait for them to go on sale as $380 a tire makes me want to cry.
Nokian took first place overall but Baja Boss was right there. AT4W, LT size, was dog water in the snow but somehow better than the K03 on ice. Used snow tires were better in every test of course.
Costco website changed recent and now it will only show me C load. Won't even let me select E load and if I try without putting in vehicle it eventually asks and tells me they won't work.
Called today and they had the shocks but needed the new nuts since I have 21. He asked why I was eager to get it in, I told him previously I needed my oil changed if it was going to take longer, and I told him it had been 4 weeks. He goes OH okay. Called me back an hour later and they got the...
Yessir, thank you! I'll show them this if they can't give me the paid they have already. I first took it in August 15th and they "ordered them" that day.
Anyone else having issues with their dealer sourcing the new shocks? Had to call today, almost 4 weeks since I originally went in, and they said they are backordered and they have contact a special area to order them. They are trying to allocate a set that was ordered for a different vehicle...
Won't look good and need to be cleaned off before the epoxy repair but if you end up in rain on your trip and need to stop the water getting in, the waterproof rubberized "duct" tape products worked really well on an old camper I had.
Used it on the hybrid camper fold out tent and awning and...
I took mine in and they didn't have shocks in stock. I'm now at two weeks waiting for shocks to come. They claim they have them ordered but haven't received them yet. Just reached out this morning for an update.
I'm still waiting on my shocks. Had to contact the dealer on Friday and they said they are still working with Ford to source some. They were supposed to be in stock down in KC.
