Has anyone tried removing just the back window from their hardtop bronco? I would like to but I guess I need assurance I won't f-it up doing so.
Thanks in advance!

No but we leave it open sometimes when we have just the front roof panels out or windows down. Makes great flow-through ventilation. Not at 70mph though. We have a cargo cover so nothing blows out.

I've been thinking it'd be cool for someone to come up with some sort of quick release hinge for it. I'd also love to be able to pop it off easily when the front panels are off. Leaving it open on short drives hasn't been an issue so far tho.

I always hate getting responses that say "I have this question too," but... I also am wondering this. Haven't tried it myself, but I'd really like to. I'll let you know if I ever try it, but in the meantime, at least I can bump this post :)

I'm not advertising BUT the lift (if you have room) is easier and cheaper than messing with the glass. And since it's a halfway decent weather between the IL/WI border I do suggest it. I was also worried about f'ing up the glass, so I bit the bullet got one.

I've taken the glass out many times as I swap it back and forth with my custom half cab...its easier w 2 people, but only takes a few minutes.

It must be easy to do. Ford has removed mine to replace the hardtop 4 times already ;)

Nice! How much? Link?

I was even thinking of making a custom rack for this in the garage with a hoist. Something with combined door storage would be great.

Let me get you a link, you're new and havent seen all the toys yet. this is a lift from EZ4x4. (not advertising just a fan)

https://www.ez4x4.com/collections/ford-bronco-4-door-accessories

this is a link to the Moar Door or 4door section. My next grab might be the door cart. take a look. most products have videos with them. So far the quality is materials is amazing.

Thanks! Might be less expensive than a shelf.

Definitely getting overwhelmed with all the cool accessories. Hopefully picking mine up Thursday.

Oh I forgot you were still in a holding pattern. Prepare to start liking things that you have never considered buying before.🤔 This thing folds up nicely as well, I had zero room for anything that takes up space.

Sorry for hijacking the thread @T800 is about to get his Bronco.

You just remove the two T-30 star screws and the clips on the ball socket?

FWIW I drive mine with the back window open regularly in the summer at 80mph+ no issues

In full transparency, My wife's Subaru has to sit outside when the roof is off, it's a price I'm willing to pay.😅
