I believe the original Toyota Forerunner had an electric roll down rear window and the tailgate operated in two different positions, down and swung open like a door.
very cool.
I may not reconnect it… since January of 2024, I haven’t used the defrost yet and I live in southeastern Wisconsin.
now, if I can disconnect the other without screwing up
You just remove the two T-30 star screws and the clips on the ball socket?
of course remove the two lines for the defrost and the single washer tube…
That easy?
Has anyone tried removing just the back window from their hardtop bronco? I would like to but I guess I need assurance I won't f-it up doing so.
Thanks in advance!
yes, I meant a self-drilling type screw and I thought of using an adhesive as well.
I've used the middle one and it's held well for the last 6 or 7 yrs on my 72 Chevy.
Thanks for your help Doc!
The holes would be 5/32" (4mm) and 2" apart in a V pattern, using self-tapping screws.
My concern is if there is anything BEHIND that I might F-up by drilling these holes...
Is it safe to drill three small holes in this location under the hood of a 2023 Bronco Black Diamond?
It's just behind the power distribution box on the driver side of the vehicle (noted in WHITE)
Thank you for your help.
no, they claim they never heard of such a thing (FORscan).
so I purchased an adaptor, bought the license and used this video to successfully enable the windows to roll up.
