Similar issue on my 22’ MT Badlands, also in for the infamous sync ring TSB. Service rep is telling me that my “aftermarket” fog lights are causing these codes because they’re feeding into the Gateway module. Laughable, being that they’re wired directly into the factory pre wired lightning system.

Haven’t even had my Bronco 24 hours and I get this…I guess it’s better than my last Bronco which was 6 days old and had the entire wheel fly off while I was on the interstate.

I just had this happen to me on way home today? You were told it was software? I hope that’s only it. Seeing your posted calmed me down a bit. I still have plenty of power in the bronco.
I have the same issue I didn't go into limp but all is the same

Add me to the ""Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power"" error list. FIVE DAYS OFF THE LOT car . 2 door 2.7 OBX. Mine won't access any 4x4 modes. At least it's only 'stuck ' in 2H.. but no lights on the GOAT controller. Heading to the dealer in the am. Will watch this thread as well :/
This is exactly what mine did today also no goat ! Or lights. What did they say with yours ?

Ok so please tell me what to tell my dealwr yo do cuz they are idiots and I already know they will say it's fine do module but I don't think it's that as my goat is also not functioning right or able to transfer to any 4 x4 options. No lighting in that area either.

^ My thought was/is that anyone could share what was done to mine with your dealer... I've driven >800 miles since with no extra dash lights. Good luck!

I was having similar errors and after 1.5 years (not kidding), 2 front differentials, 2 transfer cases, 2 front driveshafts, both front axle shafts and many trips to the dealer, it's finally fixed.

Software update for the ABS module and a broken turbo actuator arm.

Hey there. I can look into your Bronco’s concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?
I just had the same problem and took it to dealership that same day. They said it was bad gasoline that caused the powertrain malfunction. Funny thing was engine light came on 50 miles to empty, and I had just filled up the tank that same day before taking it into the dealership. Ford Dealership said bad gas is not covered under warranty and need to pay $799 to empty tank and put new fuel in or file a claim with car insurance and have them fix it. Ford mechanic also said to put in sea foam and burn out gas and should be fine. (which I did, still have issue) Took it in again and they said cylinder 4 needs to be fixed now. Did insurance claim and waiting approval but not looking good. Any suggestions on what I can do if insurance does not approve? Can I fight Ford dealership and tell them to cover under warranty? Thanks

I have a silly question; does anyone getting these faults drive with both feet, right foot on gas and left on brake? I had the fault “reduced power” come up once but it was when I was playing around in the snow, trying left-foot-braking to see if it would keep the boost up. It didn’t, instead I got the fault message. It didn’t seem to like the idea that I was on the gas and brake at the same time.

Just a thought…
I was stuck in the snow today, got the wrench on, lost traction control and hill start assist while I was in 4L with front and rear diff locked, in normal GOAT mode; all lights were on for about half hour. Once I got out of the snow I turned the Bronco off for a few minutes and it all went away, then drove 150 miles with no lights coming back on
