Installed the perimeter plus module and LED per all previously-posted internet instructions (of course none come with the part and there's no online access via Ford). What is not clear are the conflicting boot up/registration instructions. Some say none are needed after install, some say sit in the car and hit the start button without starting the car and then manually lock and unlock the door, and some say sit in the car and press the brake pedal while starting and stopping the engine 6 times in a row(!). Tried them all but I can't get the shock sensor to register a bump. Yes, I zip tied the unit as described by all. Yes, I tried turning the sensitivity knob all the way to the right, then all the way to the left, then back again. The led stays solid red for 20 seconds after locking the car from the outside, then drops to a slow pulse. Alarm only goes off if I'm in the car with it locked and open the door. What am I doing wrong??? I'm wondering if I zip tied the unit to tightly? Maybe it needs a little wriggle room? Help....
