Wondering if anyone has installed on a bronco heritage and what happens with doors off also what happens if you already have remote start? Does it throw things off since it includes remote start?

Thx! Couple more questions - I have a 24 HE - do you get security notifications in Ford Pass App and how is the sensitivity adjusted - manually - at install only ?I installed it on my '23 HE. I haven't had the doors off but I haven't had any change in any of the functions, including remote start.
Yes, I receive notifications thru the app if it is set off. It is adjusted manually on the unit with a small dial. Reading comments from other's experiences it seems to vary but I set mine to the most sensitive setting and have only had it go off once since installed 5 months ago. That was in a parking lot unattended, not sure what set it off. During testing it needed a pretty good bump or pull on the door to set it off.Thx! I installed one of these systems in my Bronco Raptor today but have yet to program it. The above had me wondering...I already had remote start via my key fobs. Does the PP module act as a gateway that removes that feature unless I now program it to work and install the jumper? Just wondering before I learn the hard way...I don't remember if I installed the jumper cable it comes with, but the remote start works like before on my 22 OBX.
I had remote start before, and nothing changed. No need to reprogram etc.I installed one of these systems in my Bronco Raptor today but have yet to program it. So you didn't install the jumper?I had remote start before, and nothing changed. No need to reprogram etc.
Not sure if you ever figured this out, but just installed this in my Raptor and no need for the jumper. Installed, started it and let it run for a minute, shut it off and everything works as it should so far. Just may need to dial in the sensitivity a bit.So you didn't install the jumper?
Yeah I tried getting that back one out for about 10 minutes and then thought about what I was doing because I cut my hand and was extremely annoyed. Only reason to take that out was to zip tie the new one on top of it. I got that bottom plug out pretty easy so instead of using zip ties I noted the contact points when I put the new one on top of the existing unit and then took some double sided gorilla tape and stuck it on. This also allowed me to have quick access to the sensitivity dial and easily install the light when it comes in. So far so good!I did, in the post right above you.
Fun getting at those existing module screws, eh?![]()
