I purchased my Bronco Badlands SAS on Aug 10, got hit by someone running a stop sign on Aug 18, and finally got my Bronco back on Nov 15th, YEA! As they had to replace the bumper I got them to upgrade the bumper from the capable to the MOD. the issue is that the MOD bumper uses the same harness but a different sensor part number than the capable and the result is that the parking sensors are throwing an error code and won't work any longer. I had a dealership perform the repair work (they did a great job) and they say they can't correct this and i have to modify the mounts to install the old sensors. does this make sense to you guys, I have to believe that this is a simple programing thing to correct? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I do want the full functionality of my vehicle.

Thanks

Not sure about the differences in the harness, but I would check the wire connections. They all use the same type of plugs but one is for the license plate light if I recall & can easily be plugged in to a sensor instead of what it needs to be plugged into resulting in the same issue.
Also make sure the sensors are centered in the bezels.

Only the driver and passenger outter parking sensors are a different part numbers bc of the angle on the connector are different. I swaped out my capable bumper to the mod bumper using my stock harness. The sensor retainers on the capable bumper will not work. I had to order 4 sensor retainers that are specific to the mod bumper and the 2 outter sensors in order for it to work.

Part # LU5Z-15K859-AAPTM are the outter sensors needed.

Seating connectors until they click. You might have to push something plastic down inside the connectors with a screw driver to get them to seat properly. Also spraying the connectors with WD-40. These things helped my warning go away. But it sounds like you may have a more technical issue.
