Sorry, but this is incorrect. The Kings use a true dual rate rear, with the top being a stiffer 500 lb/in spring. It is not a tender spring. Just a secondary dual rate to get the total rate where King wanted them given the total length.That is a tender spring that king uses. Tender springs are designed to be almost completely compressed at ride height. They help soak up smaller bumps and help keep tension on the springs when suspension droops out. The lower spring is a heavier rate, it hold the majority of the vehicle weight and kicks in when you hit bigger bumps.
