Yup...drilled the hole a while ago and seems to have resolved the issue for me, although when it is empty nothing comes out. :ROFLMAO:

There is at least one older thread here documenting this, maybe more. So I’d agree it’s not widespread, it isn’t unheard of and drilling the hole is probably the best solution to the issue.

Good on OP I say - it’s their Bronco and they fixed an engineering issue in a manner that doesn’t negatively affect anything else or cost significant money or time.
Agree, and I also vaguely remember a thread about this. To some of us our time is worth something. If I have to take off work to take the bronco to the dealership an hour and a half away from where I live, I could buy the complete windshield washer system for what I will lose monetarily dicking around with the dealership.

I can’t say I’ve ever seen this issue or any publication from Ford pertaining to it.

But this also isn’t something that would typically be dispatched to me. I really only deal with heavy line work.

This was a known issue that many fixed with a drill bit and five minutes.
The washer pump would run forever before fluid started to come out.

Mine had the same problem for a while but was fixed somehow when I added a hardtop with a rear wiper.

I know there was some new guy around hear yelling at the sky to use the search function.

Why are you all worked up over OP's solution? NOT YOUR PROBLEM! No need to get all persnickety with forum members.

See Horsey? It's on Baby. "Persnickety" is one of them fighting words. I wouldn't let anyone get away with it. :)
