Same here.I wear progressive lenses and have an astigmatism. I can read everything just fine, but slightly fuzzy without the glasses. Text is nice and crisp with them.
You have a manual, auto would show trans tempwait a minute, mine only shows 3 gauges…. What am I missing?

Thanks Doc (@HV), ACA is due in my small town any day. And CalvinT my old man was a Navy man too. He was an aviator though.Same here.
I'm amazed at how many people (usually older) complain about their eyes, but refuse to get an eye exam and proper glasses.
I used to drive manuals all the time that didn't even HAVE a tach. So no, I don't need to look at the tach while driving - occasionally I look at it just to see, but I don't NEED it. Even on these automatics with manual shift, I listen to the engine to know when to shift. Eyes on the road, please.Generally yeah, but sometimes you're just in an environment where you can't hear what's going on. And having a tach I don't need to look at in order to parse information from is a good thing. That's why needle gauges and motec style digital tachs exist, you can get the necessary information into your brain by having them in your peripheral vision.
Are you really gonna tell me you've never looked at your tach while driving?
I completely agree with everything you've said.I used to drive manuals all the time that didn't even HAVE a tach. So no, I don't need to look at the tach while driving - occasionally I look at it just to see, but I don't NEED it. Even on these automatics with manual shift, I listen to the engine to know when to shift. Eyes on the road, please.
Even when I was drag racing, I didn't look at the tach except when I was setting up the light - the LAST thing you want to do in that situation is look down. Head up and eyes on the finish line, when that bright orange light shows up it's time to slam gears. Even then you know it's coming because you're listening for ANYTHING that sounds different because it could mean you're coming apart.
Too cool for schoolIf you have to stare at a tachometer while driving manual you shouldn't be driving a manual.
Edit: op has a automatic so his post checks out.
