Looks like it’s about 129,000 that have been recalled. Hopefully they can knock shocks and the camera out the same time, that would be great
I was thinking hardtop too ((ducking for cover))

I've got the recall as well, and coincidentally I've recently started having intermittent rear camera issues, which as described seem to continue until after I've power-cycled the vehicle. So at least there is a fix, even if it's going to be a while. I'll mention the issue next time I bring it in for service.

This recall isn't new but an expansion of the older one out for MY21 camera. Now MY 22-23 are included

This works for me. I have a small scratch from swapping g the spare that sparkles when the sun hits it.
Assuming it’s the same fix as the MY21 backup camera recall, they only replace the camera itself, not the black “stalk” that the spare slides over. So if your scratch is specifically on the lens, you’ll be in luck, otherwise it’ll probably still be there.

called my Ford dealer today about both once I got notice of the camera, more to just check and see if they had heard of any progress on the shocks. He told me that it took him 3 weeks to get a replacement (original, not fixed) bilstein in for someone who had real bad leak. Wish they would just push 6112 out to us all 😅.

Ha ha, you peeps and your cameras wondering when a fix will be available when the recall hit yesterday.... "Risk of a crash"

While some of us are out here running around with possible bad valves, and shocks that fall apart 🤣 . Just waiting to blow up or veer off the road for no reason. I guess I should be happy that my camera isn't a part of the latest recall. 😁
The rear camera not working is just so you can’t see what the portion of your shock that fell of hit.

Y'all would shit if you saw all the other recalls they come out with every...single...day. Worst I've seen since the early '90s when I started in this business. I don't see how Ford can keep doing this and it not severely impacting their reputation and financial stability.
Reminds me... now that the 2.7L recall is past Q1 2025 and still no remedy, my service department told me to stop asking them and ask to Ford when the remedy would be available...

It's frustrating - they acknowledge these are issues, possibly safety concerns, and drag their feet on getting the fixes out. We've known about the bad valves since 2022, and had been tracking them for a WHILE before Ford ever acknowledged it. It's pretty bad that they haven't done anything at all for owners other than say: "your shit might explode, good luck!"
