Well… After 2 months of no squeak, I did hear it twice today. The straps absolutely helped, though maybe the silicone spray someone else mentioned is the ultimate way to go. I’ll order some, though will plan to still use the straps.
Probably. I never used them up until recently when it started to squeak like you described. Tried them out and squeak is gone, plus if I go over a large enough bump I suppose I don't need to worry about the top jumping around.
Not sure if these photos help, just trying to show how I ran the...
Mine will squeak around that same location as well. I started using the Velcro straps tightly so the top doesn’t move, no more squeak. I also take the extra minute or so and fish the straps through the metal arms from inside the tailgate, and avoid the straps from coming in contact with the...
As always
As always, thank you!
I guess it’s the “trim 3” that ends in AB like my part number. Though quick search shows it’s about $450. Think I’m good with the single light!
I noticed in another post that the 2025’s have two interior lights in the back, mounted up on the trim between the rear speakers. Looking to see if anyone happens to know the part number to this trim piece on the 2025. The part number of my trim with a single light is M2DZ-7850202-AB. Thanks!
I did order that part number and it did have blue stitching. Made a huge difference in the appearance! You will need to remove the key cylinder from the old console lid and reinstall it on the new lid.
With reprogramming of the APIM required, will this overwrite any Forscan changes? I forget what I changed in the APIM, but was definitely in there at some point. May have been when I added the trailer module.
Appreciate you sending this, not sure why I didn’t think to check out their videos first. Though in this video they don’t remove the defrost grille that I am questioning. I’ll go check out their other content to see if they remove that panel in another video. Thanks!
I’m debating on swapping out my defroster grille (top section of the dash with the speakers) with the one from the Lux package, part number M2DZ-78044E82-DA. Anyone have any experience removing this panel? Just wondering what’s involved once you’ve removed the dash speakers and light gray top...
I figured, thought I’d ask though.
My Volvo for example, if I unlock the back door via the handle to let my kids in, the car won’t try to unlock again when I grab the front handle since the car is already unlocked. I prefer it that way, obviously not a big deal though.
I believe Ford calls the feature Intelligent Access, when you lock/unlock the car from the door handle.
By chance, is there a way to reprogram this feature via ForScan (or another method) so if the car is already unlocked, it doesn’t keep unlocking the car every time I touch the door handle?
So curious, could one with a High package enable the artificial engine sounds? Not saying I want to keep the sound, but curious of what it sounds like, especially with an upgraded sound system.
Assuming it’s the same fix as the MY21 backup camera recall, they only replace the camera itself, not the black “stalk” that the spare slides over. So if your scratch is specifically on the lens, you’ll be in luck, otherwise it’ll probably still be there.
Thank you! Using the ProCal I changed it from 606 to 620, appears to be spot on now. Was driving me nuts every time I drive by a “your speed” sign and it showing slower than what the Bronco displayed.
I saw someone post their new 2024 Wildtrak and I noticed that on the 2024 (maybe other years too) that the center console armrest cover had blue stitching. I want it! Anyone happen to know the part number for the newer armrest from the 2024 Wildtrak? When I did a search, I came up with...
Matte black 3M vinyl wrap here. It can always be removed if needed, and won't trap anything (salt) on the pinch weld. Also replaced the two front fender bolts with black replacements (looked identical to the stock bolts, just black).
