I know this is more the DR but the process is the same. It says hefty application process. For the DR you had to hold a competitors license so you can race it off road. Plus there is only 50 of them.




The Stang will be a tiny bit easier but you will still be given the Spanish Inquisition to obtain one.

It is. As a member of the 700+ days Bronco club (from my order, I'm not counting my reservation days like some of these clowns), I'm assuming Ford will put us at the front of the line for a $300k Mustang as compensation. We're definitely on the list!

Multimatic and Ford have worked together many times in the past as well. I can remember the debut of the 4.6 MOD motor and Multimatic was always racing one, that was 1996.

Just thought I would throw that connection in there.

For those who don't know, GTD is the GT Daytona class in IMSA. It's a homologation special for endurance racing. Porsche does the same thing with body in white specials, including mid-engined 911s which will never be sold as a street legal car. But they don't pretend they're a totally new car for street use to get publicity. Shame on Ford for playing that game for the hype, but I hope they beat Porsche in GTD.
