Oh - you must be a time traveler from the past. Welcome to 2025 where even your toaster and wrist watch will need OTA updates

My updates have been turned off since 22.

You're not missing much, unless full screen CarPlay wasn't out then. Thats the last substantial upgrade in my opinion, though it does seem whatever happened last dramatically improved wireless CarPlay for me.

I think it's good to leave on for a year or so after buying your Bronco just for bug fixes.

But once those are covered you'll just be getting features to "serve you better."

I got CarPlay and Android auto working good. I don't like when software engineers feel the need to constantly re arrange my stuff. I want stuff to work. I don't want to re-learn everything everytime they feel the need to change everything in a new version. And, I very much dislike being tracked and not getting compensated for it.

Is 10.1.1 with 24127 the latest?

I have not seen an update in many months. Odd since I was getting them regularly.

Pretty normal. They start to trickle off as vehicles get older. I wouldn’t expect many more.

Thanks for the info. Does Ford have a formal process for software end-of-support/life (e.g., N + 5 years, 10 years, etc.)?

Was there one where the older models received an update to the windows adjusting below the weatherstrip by using the unlock button of the remote or switch inside the car? Thought I saw someone post a screen shot for that update.

Not really. It mainly all depends on how long the specific system is still being used I think.
Since they’re already transitioning some vehicles to the new android based infotainment system, I think that will start to become the main focus. Plus the longer something’s out, usually the less you need to fix.

But they will still support the sync 4 in the bronco for a while. Probably focusing on minimal bug improvements, I just wouldn’t expect any large changes. I think that’s why the updates have really slowed down lately. But I could be wrong. I think it really all depends on what they do with the bronco past 26MY I guess.

Yeah that was the beginning of the year. There was an issue with that feature so they removed it for some vehicles

As soon as you drove away.
