I bet if your IP address originates from AZ it won't give you any chance to order it.
Purchased mine at %25 off added the installation had it installed inside the fuel door. Dealership honored the price had it sent to dealership. This way I could refuse it if they didn't honor the price.. Didn't even come up, they installed it demonstrated it and thanked me
A family member purchased a keypad for me as a gift. Dug in to the install and came across this thread. Since these aren't hardwired how long does battery last?
Is it user replaceable or are you forced to purchase another keypad when it dies?

Unless our Broncos got special one-offs AFAIK all the Ford battery powered (non-wired) keypads use a standard CR2032 battery that's user replaceable - just not all that easily. Barring malfunction or super heavy use it should last years before needing replacement.

To put things in perspective on time frame I am concerned about, our bought new F350 is a 2007.
They are NOT meant to be replaceable, you maybe able to bust it out of there and replace it,good luck putting it back together.

Based on Google image search the keypad for Ford F-150 looks exactly the same and the battery is replaceable. See attached picture which came up from a web search (not mine).

There's another spot for this, backside of the third brake light (on bracket above spare tire), facing forward. Hidden till you need it ;>).
But why? Most people "hide" them because they look like crap but want to access quickly in a convenient location (inside fuel door).
Are you reaching around behind the spare to side eye and press the buttons? PLEASE post pics of your install suggestion.
