Needs to be ordered separately by the dealerIf Ford replaces just the clamshell under warranty do they ship the replacement with the headliner if the Bronco came with it from the factory or are you stuck with front panels with the liner and a clamshell without?
I had to remind the dealer when I went in to get my cracked top warrantied. Even then, they didn't order it and I had to go back for another appointment to install the sound deadening liner.I just rented a ‘25 big bend. The top had no headliner like my ‘24 does. My opinion, the bare top without the liner looks pretty ratty.
The dealer is supposed to order the headliner with the replacement roof if your build had the headliner. In other threads people suggested to rind the dealer that they need to order the headliner. That’s what I did roof came in and headliner and service dept installed the headliner and swapped out the glass.I just rented a ‘25 big bend. The top had no headliner like my ‘24 does. What did they do wrong with your rear defroster? All they did on mine was swap everything over rear hatch, wire loom and water line for the rear sprayer.I had to remind the dealer when I went in to get my cracked top warrantied. They also only warranty the panel showing signs of a problem. I had the entire rear replaced (4 door) with cracking in the C-Pillar and not around the window. The 3 front panels weren't changed. I don't notice any color variation, but have seen it posted here that they dont always match.
Glass company had to do the window install and it took two trips to get the rear hatch defrosters to stay.
rear window defrost has two wires brazed on. First time I opened the hatch- they both popped right off. What did they do wrong with your rear defroster? All they did on mine was swap everything over rear hatch, wire loom and water line for the rear sprayer.
Oh that’s not good! They didn’t have to disconnect from those points. I had covers over mine so they had to disconnect from the main harness where you disconnect when taking the top off.rear window defrost has two wires brazed on. First time I opened the hatch- they both popped right off.
I'm telling you I believe every single MIC will delaminte/crack. I just ran out of my 3y36k and I have had 4 roofs replaced due to delamination (thanks to my dealer for working with me). This final roof was installed July 2025 and now has signs of delamintion. I've found small hairline cracks forming on the rear clamshell. I thought my issues were exacerbated from automatic car washes, but turns out that didn't matter with this most recent MIC roof since I only hand washed it once. I'm more curious if the painted hard tops will start to crack/delaminateCurrently have a 24 Bronco with soft top, thinking about trading it in for a higher trim level with a hard top. How common are the cracking issues on the latest models? I see videos of the tops cracking and having to be replaced only to have it happen again. Just curious to how widespread this is and if it is a big concern. Thanks
