Forgive me if this is obvious, but I can’t figure it out: How do we send a “private message”?
if you click on their profile name you will see a link at the bottom to “Start Conversation”. This will be a private message thread for the two of you.

Ford rep was super responsive here and created a case number for me. I sent the same to the dealer when i made the service appt. When i showed up they hadn’t looked at the case number :( A couple hrs later i get a call that the tech diagnosed the hood latch must be faulty but the part is backordered for 3 wks.

I agree, I read the first page or so, then skip to the last. OP should update his first post with the fix…

The hood adjust will only work in some cases. It depends what the issue is. Has anyone identified where the actual sensor is?
Is there a way to disable this all together?

It seems Ford's "fix" is just replacing parts. I'd like to know how to actually fix it or disable it. Maybe by pulling a fuse or complete the circuit by connecting the wires and bypassing the sensor. I don't need to know if my hood is up from a computer, I can see if it is

Happening to me too. Of course it's a week until I can get into the Ford Dealer. So hope my alarm doesn't go off at 3am again.

Had my third alarm yesterday, plan on taking it in just don't know when, sent Ford a PM hoping they can at least expediate the replacement of the latch.

Had my latch replaced, and now have no problems. Took a bit over a week to get the part in. In the meantime the dealer disabled the hood ajar alarm so it wouldn’t keep going off until the part came in.

Hello! I can look into this for you on my end. Could you please send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info?

I have no idea how, but the dealer disabled the alarm from the hood sensor so the car alarm wouldn’t keep going off at random hours. After the new hood latch came in and got installed they activated the hood alarm again.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Bronco concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.
Hi, I'm having the same issue. It happened twice yesterday and once today. I also own a Bronco Badlands that I took delivery on last November. The first two times I stopped and checked the hood and it was completely shut, but I opened it and shut it again, however the warning message came back on again a short time later. The only way I could get it to clear was by turning the vehicle off and starting it up again.
