So... An update for my 2022 2 Door Badlands Sasquatch November build with the same wiper issue.
The dealer was able to replicate the problem (going into slow intermittent mode even with a hose applied to the windshield). The replaced the windshield wiper motor about a month ago. I have driven...
I have no idea how, but the dealer disabled the alarm from the hood sensor so the car alarm wouldn’t keep going off at random hours. After the new hood latch came in and got installed they activated the hood alarm again.
Had my latch replaced, and now have no problems. Took a bit over a week to get the part in. In the meantime the dealer disabled the hood ajar alarm so it wouldn’t keep going off until the part came in.
Follow up:
The dealer replaced the hood latch / sensor assembly under warranty and zero problems since then. I refrained from trying to tinker with it myself, in case I messed it up and the dealer uses that to void the warranty for this issue.
Btw, I took a screenshot of my app every time...
Brought it to the dealer after the alarm went off like 8-10 times in a week. I took a screen shot every time my app went off, since they automatically erase themselves with subsequent alarms.
They found a defective hood latch/sensor. Had it replaced under warranty. So far so good.
So... I brought my Bronco back to the dealer for the wiper issue. The first time they told me they shut off the smart sensing function. Well, that did not solve the problem. Same issue. I brought it back to the dealer. Low and behold they were able to reproduce the problem, which is not too...
I had the same issue on my 2022 Badlands 2 door which is 2 months old. One month into my ownership, driving down the highway I get an alert saying my hood is ajar. Funny, because I hadn't even opened my hood since I picked up the new car 3-4 weeks prior. Looked closed, but I opened and closed...
I wanted to provide an update. I brought my vehicle to the Ford dealership. Of course, they did not find any problems with the wiper motor. They did say my Bronco has smart sensing wipers, which they turned off (they weren't sure if that was the culprit). We'll see if that does anything.
I...
I've been having the same issue with my new 2022 Bronco 2 Door Badlands / Sasquatch package with Lux package. Driving in a heavy rain, the windshield wipers will go to intermittent or stop after 30 - 40 seconds when I put them in continuous low or continuous high modes. I have to keep turning...
