Yep , a rear cargo rack that the center detaches easily in case we need to throw something tall back there real quick.

Following with great anticipation of things to come.....

As stated above...Running w/o rear seats and top off i would instantly buy a solution that covers the back area from the primary seat backs to the mounted spare.

The Cargo Rack looks good..... can the removable roof panels fit under it?
A 2 piece cargo rack, with another section that can be added for when the rear seats are folded down, could be useful.

If you could expand on what I did to store my roof panels..... I made this rack. Both panels can fit on the top shelf, tho I usually put one panel on each shelf.
The big downside is it makes the rear seats unusable. An improved version that is easily removable would be ideal.
Storing the panels the Ford way, upright in the cargo area, makes the cargo area unusable. This rack frees up the cargo space.

Oh, and molle side panels to cover the plastic in the cargo area!

I own a 2 door big bend, stick.

I cannot find a tonneau cover that with the back seats down will cover the seat and trunk area.
shoot, back seats removed.

A two door rear window molle panel that functions like the rear glass with the top off which follows the slope of the roll bar and covers the gap from the roll bar to the tailgate. With side window molle panels, this would enclose the cargo area and keep out animals, including criminals. Would also be good for hauling dogs. Needs to be lockable or require opening the tailgate to lift. A larger molle cut out pattern would make visibility better… maybe mixed in with some traditional sized molle grids for mounting “stuff”. Might need some additional bends for rigidity or a frame of some sort. The hinges or frame could be mounted using the speaker bolts.

A platform or pull out tray that sits in the rear cargo area....of the height that with the rear seats folded forward.....it creates a level surface...level to the seats folded down. This could be a pull out tray or an easily removed open ended platform so to speak. Strong enough to put about 100 lbs. upon it. A platform that is held in place just by it's own weight and the weight of what it carries would be nice. Easy to remove and would be easy to design and make. Similar to your basket but straight up on the ends and no lip around the top (so things like dog crates, no matter what size would fit.
ADDED: Looking at your cargo basket; flip it upside down so the lip faces downward, make different support legs that are 90 degrees downward not slanted outward, maybe one support brace in the center if needed. NOT bolted in....one that just sits in the cargo area of a height that creates a level surface with the 2 seats down. Your current basket may be a little too wide and may need to be shortened. Leave a little play on both sides for those that have side wall molly panels already. This "Lower Support-Open Ended Lower Shelf" would allow storage underneath it, create a level surface for sleeping, dog crates, larger items, easily removed...still allowing access to in floor OEM panels. For me personally, it will solve issues with dog crates as I need a larger level surface. Thank you for considering. Photo of my side molly...hoping it could remain

Yep, pretty much the common request. Tonneau cover from the front seats to the gate. We would love for it to be somewhat waterproof, or at least resistant. Running topless from March through November down in the RVA.

I’m hesitant to install anything in the cargo area that could be dangerous in the event of a rear end crash. I guess I just am not aware if companies have safety incorporated into the designs or not.

I am interested in a rear cargo platform for my 2 door Black Diamond. However, what I'm really interested in is a sliding tailgate. My ICECO VL45 fits nicely behind the rear seats but takes up almost all the space. A cargo basket above it would be awesome, but only if I can slide the fridge out to open it.

Basically what I'm looking for is a fridge slide that slides on the short axis. Something like this but uses the Bronco cargo tie down mount points.
