How about a pool noodle sectioned out to fit along the short edge of each panel and stand them up on the left (or right side of the back. Then just bungee them taught?
Gonna try that one eventually myself
Cheap enough that if they break I'll just buy another set.
I think like 60 bux from ali-express. Stuck them to my Bronco seats and put the Mabbett covers over.
Still working well! (Well not today ...it's 92 out)
Same here..I still love 'em.
Had the for the better part of three years and aside from the fast blink inside on the dash (the outside blinks normal)...which I believe is just the resistor pack (first one side then the other 6m later) gone south. I would buy again!!
What do the rear holes tie into in the first pix above? Thats where maybe the confusion comes from? Until this picture I thought you only attached in 4 places but it seems you attach at 8 points?
If you're worried...there is a guy on etsy that fabricates a nice "bronco roof support bar" (search that) that installs and allows you to clip the rear center mounts to a rigid support. Its about 250.00 but looms to have some decent design and craftsmanship into it.
Something like these on Amazon for 10 bux ea?

Nope, you are simply tapping off the hot side....kinda like making a splitter. You still maintain the integrity of the circuit, you're just drawing off to another fuse.
As stated above...Running w/o rear seats and top off i would instantly buy a solution that covers the back area from the primary seat backs to the mounted spare.
Ok, I'll come out up front and say this is NOT criticism, it is in the interest of learning from your experience ....if I ever get off my azzzzz and try to replicate.
1) Fan - effing - tastic! very nice design and execution!
Q1) why the snaps rather than some sort of HD Velcro as i have seen...
You can actually pry out..a little, the lower edge of the ctr console all the way back most of the way until there is a clip or something...then sort of tuck the wires in behind. I cut a piece of lamp cord (multi strand 12 ga black sheathing) about 2 feet longer than laying it along side looked...
FWIW, I went with Mabett seat covers and stuck aftermarket amazon heated seat kit onto the MGV of my Black Diamond, under the covers. Put the switches in the same place as the guy further up the thread and tapped into fuse #2 with an add a fuse tap and a 10 amp fuse.
I used #2 because it is...
