  1. Employee Pricing to Everyone on 2-dr 2023 Broncos - Detroit area dealer.

That's wild.... 12x 2 dr Black Diamonds! And they're optioned similarly with Mid, Nav, and tow packages. Pretty good deal at around $45k.
  2. Audio upgrade that won't break the bank?

They wire between the harness and the speaker. I soldered my connections, it's easy for me to install or remove them. Their purpose is to block the low frequencies (bass) since the smaller speakers can't handle them well, which could lead to distortion.
  3. Audio upgrade that won't break the bank?

Decent 4" Dash and rear pod speakers can be had for around $50 a pair.... Infinity, Alpine, Polk. Add $10 per pair if you want the Ford style connectors, another $10 for bass blockers for the dash speakers. Do you have a functional rear sub or was it deleted? If not, buy a surplus Ford Fusion...
  4. Confirming base plastic bumper has fog light harness preinstalled?

My '23 BaseSquatch with mod bumper doesn't have the fog harness in the bumper. I've read you can tap into the wiring harness plug that ends in the drivers side wheelwell. That's where the bumper harness would plug into. You can then add the headlight w/fog switch to control them. More info...
  5. Buying a Bronco from Michigan and driving it home to Alabama. How can I prevent future rust?

I agree.... start with a good wash & dry. Existing rust can be wire wheeled, treated with a rust converter, and painted if you want it to look new. And/or just spray everything with Fluid Film. Fluid Film will creep into crevices, preventing additional rusting. I'd be less concerned with prior...
  6. Mabett Seat Covers

I bought them for my 2 door, they're great! Unfortunately the 2 door versions have the PU vinyl on the rear seat seatbacks, so the seat back protectors will not adhere with the Velcro. Maybe I can add Velcro tape to the seatback. The 4 door covers are available with felt rear seatbacks, to use...
  7. SAS ride quality on interstate highways?

The 4.27 includes the locking rear, hence the higher cost. That's more of an advantage for off-road use. Or if you plan on non-SAS and upgrading to 35" tires, the 4.27 gearing helps make up the difference of the larger dia tires. The SAS suspension is a little softer, the stock is more firm...
  8. SAS ride quality on interstate highways?

The larger diameter of the tires makes up some of the difference in the gearing. For example, going from a 32" diameter tire to a 35 is a 10% increase. Going from a 3.73 to a 4.7 rear is a 26% increase, so the real difference between the gear/tire combo is about 16%. Looking at it another way...
  9. 2024 Bronco Factory Build Sheet Location

Mine was in an envelope on the seat or floor. I 'visited' my Bronco within the few hours after it arrived at the dealership. I snagged the build sheet at that time, asked the sales guy if I could keep it. He said 'sure, we just throw them out'.
  10. No Aux Switches, No Problem. Installed Bronco LED Aux Panel

Nice setup! @ $179 it's a great alternative for those without the factory aux switches.
  11. Anyone running these fog lights?

What's your budget? Modular bumper or ? Are you sure you want the fog light pattern? They mostly add light to the shoulders and right in front..... GREAT pics by Oldhippie above! I posted my setup, about $300, a few posts up, post # 20. Diode Dynamics are $$$, SuperBright are $$, NiLights on...
  12. 2021+ Bronco ForScan Thread

Interesting. My March '23 built Base would ramp on/off. It bugged me so I just turned the auto function off. My issue was I didn't notice the auto hi/low switching. So I often 'dimmed' my hi-beams when I was actually turning them on when traffic approached. Maybe I should just have more faith in...
  13. Best Bang for your Buck on the 42,000 Points

That's a boring choice, but it's what I used my points on too. ;) As far as accessories, the aftermarket has a lot of better choices at lower prices. The Ford hood struts are made by Redline and would have been one of my top choices. Then maybe the floor and cargo mats. Ford Accessories has...
  14. Anyone running these fog lights?

I was considering those. Didn't see many reviews or comparisons to the SS3 lights tho. They were on sale around Xmas for 20% off. I wanted a lower cost setup too. I ended up getting a pair of the DD SS3 SAE fogs ($160 @ 15% off), eBay brackets ($8, normally $30) and a pair of 3" SAE driving...
  15. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

Soooo.... 9 months after I took delivery of my BaseSquatch, I get that same notice from the Pa Dept of Revenue! They're saying the average sales price is $55,992 and want another $1,057 for tax due. It was easy enough to fill out their forms online, but their 9 month delay is crazy. My paid...
  16. Water heater recommendations

What's your objective? Do you have to replace your present water heater or are you trying to cut the cost of running it? Depending on how often and how much hot water you use, adding a timer may reduce it's power use. Tankless can be an option. Again, it depends on what your needs are. Assuming...
  17. Trans temps

Transmission coolers are usually built into the radiator, therefor trans temp would be close to engine coolant temp. HD vehicles often have an additional trans fluid cooler (cooled by air). I don't know exactly what the Bronco setup is... A quick Google search says optimum temp is 175*-225*. At...
  18. Can't DISABLE start/stop

There's another A.S.S. eliminator at about 1/2 the cost. It's been mentioned on this forum before. https://www.amazon.com/Eliminator-Bronco-Automatic-Disable-Canceller/dp/B0BG2L8GJZ or https://www.amazon.com/Eliminator-Bronco-Disable-Canceller-Badlands/dp/B0BP9VGF4Y
  19. Rate my detailing plan…

You might want to add an iron dust removal step. I see The Chemical Guys have a 'Decon Pro Iron Remover'. https://www.chemicalguys.com/products/decon-pro-iron-remover-and-wheel-cleaner?
  20. Latest 2024 Bronco Production Key Commodity Constraints + Total Retail Unscheduled Orders (3/18/24)

You're reading it wrong, or perhaps backwards. The orders are in the 'Retail USOB' column, the 'US Capacities' is what Ford can presently build. So Sasquatch comprises 57% of the orders, but Ford can only build 35%. That difference (-22%) is shown in red.
