Broken batteries can really put everything on the fritz. Only thing comparable would be driving in a dust storm with modern sensors freaking out and being broken down on a freeway at night with low visibility. That was special, was a CR-V and paid for a tow but was fine the next day.

@Duston@Lethal, are the non HD springs meant as coil replacements for the OEM shocks? I have seen them alluded to but can’t find a specific model for a ‘22 BD 2D 2.3L automatic (hitachi) that is packing on an extra 2-300 pounds in the front. Thank you.

it was in a separate white box. Looked like it had a flag or something in it but the actual fairlead box was inside of that.

I’m hesitant to install anything in the cargo area that could be dangerous in the event of a rear end crash. I guess I just am not aware if companies have safety incorporated into the designs or not.
