Recalls are a sign of good customer service. In the old days, car manufacturers didn’t care. Once you drove it off the lot, it was your problem.
I get what you are saying.........but I don't think setting an industry record for number of recalls in 1 year is good lol

I might agree with you if I could actually get any recall work done...

I think I have 5 recalls but currently only 1 has parts available.

WTF.

Seriously, the fuel pump one really bugs me because that potential leaves me stranded. I spoke with the dealer today since they finally got parts in to fix the rear shock. I asked about the fuel pump and he said Ford doesn't have a solution for it yet. Again WTF, is that even true? Seems like replace the fuel pump is the solution...

I still like my bronco but am pondering other options, the recalls, the noise, the weird computer controlled shit, the known problems not recalled, etc. are wearing me down.

Probably won't return to the Ford family.

22 badlands 2 door mt,
- sounds like gravel in transmission, yep have that.
- brake line vacuum leak yep have that,
- wind noise, yep have that
- wipers that stop, yep had that.
- bucking bronco, yep had that.
- black backup screen, yep have that.
- leaking front diff, yep had that,
- cracked steering airbag cover, yep have that.
- window indexing problems, yep have that
- leaky hard top, yep have that ( at least we don't get much rain
- sad saggy seatbelt, yep have that.

wonder what I forgot...

at least the top hasn't cracked, yet. Probably because the fit is so visibly bad that it can't transfer any stress to crack the top.

The fuel pump has a solution but no parts. This was recently updated.

It's part of the Bronco experience....like a 1980s Ferrari haha.

What 4 recalls do you have that don’t have parts? Fuel pump and the seat one are the only ones I can think of that don’t have a repair available

My ‘21 Black Diamond has been excellent, but I don’t shout that all over the internet. I wonder how many other people have had similar experiences.
The vast majority. Either people don't notice issues, expect the issues they do see, or there generally aren't that many issues with the vehicle.

The problem is, there are roughly three types of people on internet forums. Enthusiasts for a vehicle, people who are having issues with the vehicle, or people who just like to bash on a vehicle/brand. The second two, since they're ONLY posting about problems, make up most of the 'this vehicle sucks' comments.

Enthusiasts tend to be more nuanced and vary more - some are just looking for ways to install or make mods work, or are looking for ways to make what they have better. And sure, they'll experience some of the defects, but they don't always drop into every thread to sing the praises of the vehicle they love.

The rest of the world likely doesn't even know that internet forums exist, and if they aren't experiencing problems they don't talk about their car, because it's a tool to get from point A to point B.

In the US at least, people tend to be vocal about problems they're having, but quiet when things are going well for them.

It takes a leap of faith to shell out $$$ for a Ford. Not even 6 months in I have had a recall performed and now waiting for a software fix for the 2.3L misfire issue. I went over 5 years of recent BMW ownership and never had a single visit to the dealership outside of the BMW free services. My 2012 Mustang was probably the biggest lemon I've owned so if the Bronco doesn't work out I have nobody to blame but myself for tempting fate. You don't buy a Ford expecting reliability and quality. You buy them because one of their vehicles is desirable to you and just hope that you get a good one. I'm not overly worried about the instrument cluster recall or this misfire issue that supposedly is just a software fix but I have to admit it's always in the back of your mind that something is going to go wrong because of the widespread issues reported here and in the Facebook community. At the end of the day you have to take responsibility for knowingly purchasing a product from a company that is really struggling with quality issues as nobody is forced to buy a Ford or a Bronco.

You're right, I can't count, only 4 recalls since I decided not to get the block heater. The service manager told me they didn't have the parts for the backup camera. I checked after I saw your post and Ford says parts are available. Ford also said parts were available this summer for the rear shock. I took the bronco in for the shock in September, they finally have the parts now.

So technically you are right, only 2 without parts per Ford, functionally per my dealer 3.

Lets end on a happy note - I'm still trying to sneak the bronco into photos ; )

You should buy a sport with the 1.5. Experience some real issues that would cost a boat load out of warranty.

I’ve got two Broncos, ‘23 OBX non-sasq with 37k and ‘24 Wildtrak with 32k. No problems other than the backup camera recall on the ‘23. I go out of my way to drive an hour extra for a good dealer, even though the one 10 minutes away is the same franchise. We have broken a few things that were not the Broncos fault - bent a tie rod, rear window washer broke from cargo falling on it, adaptive cruise sensor cracked due to rocks, windshield washer sprayer line broke loose after driving through a supercooled unfrozen creek at -10F and the hood got covered in an ice sheet. The good dealership has been awesome about fixing all that stuff under warranty, and it never took more than a few hours.

I've also been largely immune to Ford's QC issues...(knocking on wood...). Our current three Ford models have been rock solid so far. The MachE had a recall for an OTA software update, the Mav also had a software recall, and a recall for the 12v battery, which got replaced for free, even tho I had no problems. And the Bronco is a virgin so far... And all have been trouble free, and wonderful to own & drive. Zero complaints. Even going back to my last couple F150's, they were perfect, no issues. We've owned examples of just about every brand out there (save the exotics..), and our Fords have been some of the best, and least problematic. So there's that...

Always better to be lucky than smart, I always say.... 🤠

The biggest issue my Bronco has had is the fact I can’t take it offroad every day. I gotta go to work… I’ve complained to the dealer and unfortunately Ford doesn’t have a recall for that yet
