Ford Performance Tailgate Reinforcement?

Anyone know if this is still happening? I reached out to Ford Performance but haven't heard back yet.

I saw the thread showing that it was at the LA auto show in 2022.

It's indirectly displayed on Ford Performance's site in a relatively new item posting.

I received a reply from Ford Performance that they are making an official kit for the Raptor-style swing gate reinforcement but there is no ETA.

Currently I believe the only way to get it is on the raptors, Ford might release it separately some day but for now raptor only.

I'm assuming that it is but in a package without a need to remove the Bronco emblem and/or mod the wheel holder, considering the pictures.

I'm wondering if this is next considering they released the B/C braces from the Raptor in a kit for the standard Bronco.

Quality on this cannot be very good if it's only for non-Sasquatch.

I'd suggest that most people looking to upgrade are concerned about carrying a tire heavier than the stock SAS tires.

I agree, I bet released at some point in 2024.

The B/C braces were over $2k initially if you pieced them together. I got the kit for $700 during black Friday.

It has nothing to do with load-bearing. It is about the installation.

The YouTube video I posted up there had a 35 inch tire with aftermarket wheel.

I also saw one on Instagram. It was also an aftermarket wheel with large tire.

Why does it not work with Sasquatch?

Pretty much the exact same thing...

Except cast aluminum hinges with steel pins, and steel bolts screwed into aluminum threads. Not the same thing, I would be hesitant to put 37s on this.
