From what I understand they used the 200 and 220 but you are correct, they were the legacy diffs. Is it the same as the 210 cover that the Wrangler uses for the front? They are both 12 bolt but I'm not sure of a difference.
No, I all but positive it is a completely different bolt pattern--the legacy D44 was 10 bolt cover and the M220/M210 is 12.

I could be very wrong, but wasn't there a post somewhere about this cover not working with some skid plates ?

That is what an angle grinder is for.... I had to cut a bit to get my DV8 to fit....

I'm not arguing that point, I agree the Legacy were/are 10 bolt but maybe for a standard straight axle like a new Jeep WO/IFS?.

Maybe, but I would not fill to the top hole on those axles either.

At 73 YO, I’m past the cook kids stage..

Hmmm, I do have a Badlands Graphic on my hood however (strictly functional….. right?). I can’t do yellow or red differential covers however, too flashy for me..
At 62 I've just begun! lol

You are correct, the only part not GAUDY on the Raptor is the diff cover! lol
You got that right! Looks like it was designed by somebody that was given a $5K budget, a JC Whitney catalog, and 5 minutes to spend it. The cover *IS* sharp, though. Anyone paint (or powdercoat, etc.) one of these things or highlight the lettering and stuff? Looks great au naturel just curious if anyone's found a way to tastefully make it pop more.

I was also wondering if anyone added this with the NVM diff cover? The ARB will not work. The NVM cover has no way to drain easily. This might work, and I could just drill a hole in the bottom of the NVM to allow access to the drain bolt on the bottom with little consequence. I’m just not sure if there will be interference somewhere I’m not anticipating. The ARB would have required major grinding and likely compromising the structure.

Installed the Ford Performance diff cover. Discovered my OEM COVER on my 23 Badlands has a Magnetic fill plug. After cleaning OEM fill plug I installed it in the new Ford Performance fill plug hole. This provides two magnetic plugs in my new cover. One being the OEM FILL PLUG and the other is the Ford Performance magnetic drain plug that came with the new cover. Two is better than one and the price was right.

20% code worked for me. Picking up at dealer to save shipping. Tons of good info on filling and replacing. Total impulse purchase. 😁

QQ Where is the best place to get the non-Ford branded oil?
Have to get Squeeze packs so worth it in time saving and no mess.
