I'm sure it does. That doesn't make it look good. Again, I never said the performance was lacking. I said the aesthetics were lacking.
Your non Sasquatch big bend is also lacking in the aesthetics department sooooo

Polarizing is an understatement when it comes to the Braptor flares. I have been in the fugly camp myself. When my friend bought one, I took a ride. That sold me. Traded my 2 door SAS in on one. I had my flares color matched. Looks way better. I’ve had mine for 2 years now. I cannot drive it without someone talking to me about it or giving me a thumbs up. Usually at gas stations and stop lights. It’s become one of my favorite vehicles.

I am fortunate to have both a RRaptor and a Braptor. I don’t really care if the haters don’t like the flares. If there is a decision to take either off road, the Braptor ALWAYS wins hands down. Now, for a road trip, the RRaptor wins.

I do agree. The Braptor flares do look like the biggest afterthought since the 1991 Jeep YJ Renegade. Just seeing one initiates the gag reflex.

My parents have a Big Bend with Sasquatch and it's great in terms of proportions...maybe could use another 1 inch of ride height but overall pretty nice. I just can't get into the Raptor awnings hanging off the fenders.
OMG, I'd never heard of nor seen the atrocity that is the 1991 Jeep YJ Renegade. Ground effects much? Yes to all the things! It's making a sad face, too. I take it most of those got fed to the crusher sooner than later.

You get used to the flares and actually come to appreciate them. With the top off, I think it actually looks pretty bad "ass" from the rear (I see what you did there). But the way it drives and its overall capabilities, it's a small price to pay if they don't agree with you visually..

You get a like for including the Stroppe in that picture!

Maybe true, but running through deserts at high speed isn't something I want to do so it's kind of irrelevant. Furthermore, something being good at a task doesn't mean it can't be ugly. Braptor is ugly. I never said it's not capable.
I get it. I think the 4 door Bronco is fugly.

Hijacke, Hijack!

Very Nice! I’d agree, the paint matched fenders make a very nice change in appearance! I’ve added paint matched Side Mirror Caps and Door Handles.
The color pops very nice, I’m sure you receive many compliments!

Just noticed this happening on my Braptor! I tried popping it back in but the front clip would not stay put. Jumped online and saw the recall talk so I’ll be taking it in next week as I can see the concern of it coming off at speed.
Forgot to post an update here but super straightforward - Ford Service ordered new clips and we are back in business!

Also, reading through all the fender comments šŸ˜† To each their own but my biggest mistake was not going with the Braptor when I had a golden ticket opportunity while I was waiting for a BL - Sad to admit it but I was influenced by all the trash talk online when the Braptor was announced. The Badlands I had was great but there is nothing I miss about it (including the fenders), compared to the Raptor. The performance, the ride, the stance - incredible machine!

Weird update: I got a recall letter in the mail saying in bold red "A remedy is not yet available." It continues by saying that the remedy should be available in September. It is Safety Recall Notice 26S47.

I was going to try to get the wiring recall done this coming week but now I will wait.

I'm easily entertained by the Braptor chatter. I do hope it's all in fun. Vehicle taste is solely in the eye of the owners. I had a 2018 F-150 Raptor in Ruby Red. I loved that truck but parking was always a careful consideration. It's true, countless times people commented on the beast. I could park in the middle of nowhere and come out to find some chuckle-head nuzzled up next to me in his Rolls Cannardly. (Rolls down one hill and can hardly get up the next) Most recently, I had a choice between a 2026 Braptor, black over red and my 60th Anniversary, white over red. It wasn't the $16k difference that influenced my decision as much as the color combination and my memories of the "drawbacks" to owning a Raptor style vehicle. My point, buy the vehicle you can afford and calls to you when you see it. It doesn't matter what other people think.

Hopefully it’s all for fun… spicy comments on internet don’t impact reality… at least to me and my little pokes… all humor!

Couldn’t agree more… pick what ya like and enjoy it… life too short to not enjoy! I started with an Outer Banks with Lux package… black with Black paint match fenders & Top. My Wife was the one that kept eyeing the BRaptor in Shelter Green… given her blessings, we went with BRaptor and unexpectedly it’s an eye catcher about everywhere we stop. Love the smooth ride down the road, thrilled with the design & looks!

If anyone has actually been through the recall, any feedback would be appreciated. My gut tells me that Ford thought the earlier repair for the recall was sufficient but they have now determined it wasn't. Ford has a history of similar amateur moves like this (Focus RS headgasket comes to mind, where they kept updating the repair every few months because it was never quite right even after multiple revisions).
