As a reminder you WILL need to enable the fog circuit in Forscan with the Modular Bumpers AND you will need to buy the fog switch. If you upgraded from a Modular Bumper from a Plastic/Capable bumper, buy the harness for the plastic/capable since that is what the factory wiring will be.

And for your Raptor folks reading this, yes we DO have pigtails for you JUST IN CASE you are reading this and going "man I wish they made some for my truck"

Raptors use a modified version of the Capable Bumper which have TWO pigtails on each side that are DIFFERENT from the regular Broncos with capable bumpers. This is the same pigtail Ford uses on the F150 Raptor actually which is why we've had them available for a while

Hoping for a little help and guidance. I have the factory wiring and fog light switch that came with the Bronco (came with plastic bumper/factory fogs/front sensors and switched it out to a modular bumper) and am adding Oracle triple fogs. I bought this harness from you hoping it would match right up:

https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crysta...il-pair-2021-ford-bronco-w-hd-modular-bumper/

When I went to install this morning, it the gray end looked like it would match up to the Oracle harness end, but the OEM harness end was different. This is what I have that was plugged into the factory fogs that came with the plastic bumper. Do you have any harness that will match up or any guidance? Is it a DT 2-pin to H11?

Well, I'm moving from the plastic bumper/w fogs. I bought a Chinesium modular bumper. Replacing the d-ring mounts with Ford red ones. I plan on reusing the fog light wiring harness to connect to some raptor like Mabett lights to power the white only mode. I found that the wiring harness uses an H11 connector. I ordered these https://amzn.to/44WU1B2 and they do plug into the harness. Haven't connected the lights yet as I waiting on the Ford red mounts I hope that helps you. I came to this thread looking for the wiring diagram. It would never accord to me that Ford would use what looks like two different circuits for left and right fog lights. Looks like Red (or maybe that is brown. LOL) is left and yellow is right.

You have the plastic bumper but that harness you linked is for modular bumpers.

I don't know what kind of connectors Oracle uses but we sell the following

H11 -> 2-Pin WP: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/crysta...gtail-pair-2021-ford-bronco-w-plastic-bumper/

H11 -> 2-Pin DT: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/diode-dynamics-deutsch-dt-adapter-wires-h11-h8-h9-800-881-pair/

H11 -> 4-Pin DT: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/diode-...wires-w-backlight-tap-h11-h8-h9-880-881-pair/

OK, I'm dumb.....I've read through the thread and either don't understand or missed it multiple times. Can someone with more knowledge than me chime in?

I have a '23 Wildtrak with Lux pxg & modular bumper. I want to add Oracle Triple LED fog lights and control with factory fog lamp switch. Which part number do I need to replace my original switch assembly and what needs to be changed in Forscan? Thanks to any who help and I understand if some would prefer that I figure it out on my own because they did.

Not sure if you can with Oracles fogs. They are all tied together and you can't run 6 fog lights on public roads, it's not legal. So not sure if they even have a connector that can be used to plug into something else.

Thanks, I intend to do some modifications so that I can run two fogs (one on each side) with factory switch and the remaining 4 with Aux 1 when needed. Seems there are multiple part numbers for the factory switch depending upon your vehicle options.

Yeah out of the box they don't do that though FYI. So if you've not bough them yet just a heads up. Their harness turns on all 6 lights at once. And as I said, I don't know what connection they use so not sure if you can connect them to a regular harness or if you are going to need to cut some wires and splice some things.

This is why we like the Diode Dynamics lights. Each pair is on it's own switch. They are street legal (when you get the SAE ones) and you can pick/choose what patterns you get so you can cover all the areas in front of you.

M2DZ-11654-DC is the switch you'll need.
As far as the forscan instructions, check page 7.

What is this change supposed to do?

BdyCM (As-Built Configuration)
  • 726-42-01 xxxx-0101-xxxx - Change the second group value to 0101
I made the other changes in the guide to add a factory fog light switch. My aftermarket fog lights are now working without this one config change.

Looking for some fog light help that I sort of gave up on for bit.

22 Badlands equipped with off-road capable bumper/fogs

I’ve purchased the following:
Baja Design Squadrons
4x4 truck led plug and play

current situation:
The BD lights will not power on with the factory fog switch
The lights are functional (powered up with power probe)
the harnesses seem good
Fog light fault from scanner

how do I clear the code?
is this preventing the lights from getting power ?

As a follow up to my above post, here's a bit more detail on what I did to modify the bumper side of the C424 connector so that my rear Didode Dynamics ('fog' 'chase' 'backup') lights work with the push of the rear fog button on my M2DZ-11654-CC switch (while the headlights are on). I unplugged the connector, peeled back the wire harness tape on the bumper side, and noted that there are two wires running into the sealed end of the connector.

I used a drill bit to drill a hole in the back of the bumper side connector. I stepped up to a 7/64 bit for it to be large enough to get the EU2Z-14421-BA connector to fit through. In the process of figuring out the right size and getting the routing precise, I broke two of the five connectors in the kit and managed to break through the sheathing to expose the bare wiring on a 3rd connector. It's good that the kit came with 5 connectors, as I still have one spare. ;) I eventually remembered that I had some baling wire that I could work through the hole and into the correct pin location.
PXL_20230530_012853711.webp

Now instead of two pins on the bumper side of the C424 connector I have three.
PXL_20230530_014937297.webp

I plugged the two sides of the C424 connector back together and tested the bare end of the EU2Z-14421-BA wire with my voltmeter to ensure power was passing through, indicating a good pin connection.
PXL_20230530_015229659.webp

I add a bit of silicon to help seal the new wire, taped up the connector, and ran the new 18 gauge wire across the frame, under the heat shield behind the 10mm bolt on the driver side above the muffler. (Red line shows routing)
PXL_20230530_022301963.webp

The wire runs into the same grommet as the diode dynamics wiring harness into the cargo space, under the rear plastic trim, and tucks into the same space as the diode dynamics harness on the rear passenger panel area. (This pic was before crimping and heat shrinking the connector)
PXL_20230530_021523813.jpg
I did this same procedure to get my rear fogs working with the new OEM switch M2DZ-11654-CC:
Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch 420fbe0e2c39050e6c01751c1976f2a5

And using these terminal pins:
Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch 71253090605__2C4A526A-2290-41E6-B9F4-956C322729A5

Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch 71253092252__D133FEA7-9720-4985-8856-00253D96AA51
However, I figured out how to open the connector and add the terminal. Thanks to @flip for helping with the parts.

You’ll need to remove this grey retainer clip with needle nose plyers.

Use a small flat head or pick to open the back plastic plate and slide it back on the wires. This will expose the weatherproof rubber plug.

Thanks to @FordOwner and @ksmich for the terminal info. Its Pin 3 the CLS37 (WH-BU) wire. The White - Blue wire:

Thanks to John @SPVPARTS for his help on how to wire it all and providing the pigtail needed. He was having trouble sourcing the Ford plug, to make this an easy plug-n-play setup, so we went this route. It plugs right into his short rear harness. Disregard the label though, as it’s for the American rear harness, which isn’t wired for the rear fog. I highly recommend John and @SPVPARTS if you have lighting needs or projects, he’s been super helpful!

Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch IMG_9308

Disregard the spaghetti wiring, but this is how the pigtail plugs in…
Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch IMG_6620

He thought he had a terminal pin that would work, and figured I’d try it, but it was slightly too large. I had to cut it off and soldered on the right one.
Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch IMG_6615
Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch IMG_6616
Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch IMG_6627

I added some heat shrink and tested the fit/function before I install the pin terminal in the plug. It all works!
Ford Bronco Factory Fog Light Switch IMG_6628

You’ll need to use a small bit, I believe I used 3/32, to make a hole in the plastic plate. You’ll need to pull rubber plug back so you can see the terminal and insert the pin. Pay close attention to how you insert it, it will click into place when done properly. I used a small flathead and needle nose, be careful not to tear it…hread the pin/wire through the plate and 3rd hole in weatherproof plug.

Don’t forget to reinsert the retainer clip! I almost forgot…

Plug back in the connector and you’re good to go… Note the orange fog symbol next to the seat belt symbol (see earlier post with ForScan changes)

Sorry if this has been posted, but how many amps can the factory fog light circuit handle?
