I finally did the Forscan changes and Enabled the Fog Lights. I'm just waiting on the Light Switch to arrive.

Once I swap out the Light switch then I will test which wire it is to be 100% sure before I tap them.

Hi All,
Sorry if this has already been covered, but does anyone happen to know what the maximum amount of current that the OEM Fog Light circuit can drive?

I am looking to use this circuit to drive Diode Dynamics SSC2 Pro fog lights (rated at 2A each), so if anyone can confirm they have successfully done this, it would be a good as a value…

I’m running SS3 max from the fog light circuit with no issues. They’re rated to pull 3A each, so I wouldn’t worry about yours one bit.

Totally following this thread. I have the lights from 4x4truckleds.com I have the switch from Ford already, the one with the rear switch too. I'll get some rear lighting going at some point too.

As for the FORSCAN...........where are you guys getting the software from so that you can go into the BDYCMOD to change the setting for them to work? Sorry if this is a silly question.

you will need an OBD adapter to tie into your system. Those are cheap on Amazon.

UPDATE SOLD———I have a brand new switch assembly for sale with just the front fog lights. I bought it last year but never installed bc I don't have a PC (all Apple computers) to do the Forscan settings so I installed fog lights hooked up to the auxiliary switches. Message me if interested

Out of all of these numbers I am still trying to find which part number this is…waiting on my Wildtrak with Mod bumper and LUX. I am sure it is here somewhere can anyone tell me which part this is?

when looking at the various part numbers found M2DZ-11654-DC. I think that is it but it says “without blind spot warning”. Is that something I need to worry about on mine if I order this one?

Ok so I know this isn't related to the Fog Light Switch other than Enabling it in Forscan, but did anyone have this happen after doing Froscan changes?

*My Map/Dome Lights no longer come on when opening the door when *parked-not running-first entry.

They should come on automatically, and the Dome *OFF button is not selected -FYI. I'm not sure which Forscan code changed this. I changed the Auto Headlight from "Auto" to "Last Known", thought maybe that was it so I changed it back to "Auto" but that wasn't it.

*Anyone know the code section to check the Map/Dome Lights setting?

I also changed these code options:
Auto Headlight back to "Auto"
Door Open Chime -disabled
Seat Belts both Driver/Pass -disabled
Double Honk -disabled
Global Windows Open+Close -enabled
Fog Light Front -Enabled all
and I thought I had disabled start-up Chime dododo-but its enabled.

If your bronco didn't have fogs or sensors originally, you're going to have to go back to C203, Wich is a large harness connector inside the driver's fenderwell... Take the liner out of the driver's side, and look up on the frame horn that runs immediately under the fusebox/battery area... the connector is the large one in this photo;

The two wire connector you see is the one I added for mine, you need to splice the wires going to pin 48 and 43 of C203, 48 is a yellow/orange wire to the + right light, and 43 is brown, to the left light. you just need to ground the other wires from the fog lights.

If pIns 48 and 43 represent the Right and Left fog lights in C203 respectively, does that mean the corresponding connecter which marries to C203 has blanks in the corresponding Right and Left fog pins?

Follow up to that question... Are the pin locations the same number on both the female AND male side of C203? Or is C203 the male end and the female end has some other connector designation (or vice versa)?

I ask because I'd rather insert pins into those blanks, similar to OEM, and run the leads to each individual fog from there than splice a wire on the C203 side.

From the wiring diagram is looks like these would be blank.

But I can't tell which numbers the blanks would be unless C203 is the same for both the male and female side OR if the corresponding connecter into C203 would have blanks in 7 and 8 respectively at C192 connector downstream.

Hope this makes sense.

Yup, I understood you, However the answer is not as clear cut as I'd like...

Yes, Both the male and female side are the same pin outs.

I think there has been variance in what happens on the body side of the connector though, I believe at least a few were made that actually have wires on the body side, and they are wrapped into the harness without being terminated.

However I believe the vast majority just have empty pin holes on the body side, that would allow the insertion of new pins, However if you look at that side of the lever locking connector, it has a retainer setup and the wires are very tight coming into it. I though really hard about opening the connector, adding pins, and dealing with the hassle that would be, but in the end I decided to be lazy, and cut the wires on the BCM side and add a weatherpac connector.

It just didn't seem like it was worth the work of disturbing all those pins and opening them to getting loose and corrosion.

M2DZ-11654-CC is the correct one for front and rear fogs, heated WITH blindspot, puddle lamps, and spot lights. It’s the only switch that comes with EVERY option

Whatever place you are looking that says without Blindspot, is an incorrect description.

Should be easy enough to fix. Change them back one by one until you figure out what caused it.

I'm following. Honestly, your experience is likely a premonition to what mine will be. I also might chase the leads down stream if they are in fact pinned and connect from wherever they terminate. Or, I'll throw up my hands and splice like you did.

Fantastic info and the missing pin locations was the only thing preventing me from starting this project. Really appreciate it.

Like I said, that’s not correct. The description from all these places online are saying “without blindspot” which is false.

Here is what it shows in the actual Ford parts catalog. As you can see, they are both for vehicles WITH blindspot. But you are correct about the front fogs only with DC and both front and rear fogs with BC. I didn’t look at the picture in the original post correctly.
