The other day I tried installing F150leds brand lightbar for my Bronco. But I couldn't even get started because when I installed the bracket into the top outside "accessory ready" area(s) above the windshield and replaced the painted piece over the bracket It's not exactly flush as It was before as pictured. You can pretty much tell which photo is the one without the bracket.
Did anyone order this lightbar from them? And did you have this problem?
I emailed them and they wrote back saying they were sorry I was having this problem and asked would I like to have them send me some spacers? I said yeah I guess, I'll try anything. Knowing myself what are spacers going to do to help?
I bought this a couple months before I got my Bronco in anticipation of getting it. Yeah I know, that was a dunce move. Any advice?

That’s first light bar I’ve seen that you put the cover piece back on. I have the bd xl8 light bar up there, and def no way of putting covers back on.

Yeah, thanks but as you can see it looks terrible. The brackets are configured and shaped incorrectly for the plastic piece to fit over.

My mistake was believing in this company and purchasing this lightbar kit from them long before I got my Bronco. Now it's too late to return it.

On their YouTube installation video I've left a comment stating this concern- they haven't replied. What a surprise. I'm going to leave the same review on their website and see what happens

You’ve gotta cut the side of the body coloured blanking plates where the bracket makes contact
I'm kind of uneasy about manipulating original equipment. I'm going to try and refabricate the bracket area where it meets the plastic accessory plate. Thanks though

Is the only option Ive seen that allows replacement of the caps, probably for color alone. You seeing see much of it behind the light bar anyway.

It's probably the only compromise with adding a bracket That fills that space and then adding the caps back
