Can you tell me more about that clunk. I have a '24, 2 door, manual, Big Bend. When I start off and haven't let it warm up or idle down, there is definitely some rattling, clunking around when I'm shifting in the lower gears. Mines the 2.3. Not sure if I should be worried about it or not. Doesn't seem to be harming anything, and when I warm it up, it's minimal.

I had a VW GTI prior to this and never had to warm up.

Anyway, just curious.
My bronco is an automatic, but it only did it when I shifted from park to reverse. Before this I had a manual mustang ecoboost, I don’t remember it making any clunking noises like the bronco, but I remember if it was cold it would be harder to change gears until it warmed up. And the manual transmission in the mustang was also made by Getrag.

2022 Badlands SAS.. motor pulled at 25k miles for bad cam phasers, now needed new oil pan (leaking everywhere).. Hard top starting to crack around windows.. now 26k miles. Oil change 5k with synthetic so … this is my second and last FORD! Going back to all Toyota! Own 3 Landcruiser's and prefer them to the bronco. This driving IPhone has more glitches etc…(broke down twice in middle of Death Valley.. no 4x4 “see dealer immediately “ warning and was a brick. Had to disconnect battery to get it to clear errors and get it home.)

Zero issues with my FE other than a turbo failure at 13,000 miles. So there's that 😜

2023 WT three front differentials, front axle, Left and right CV boots, now looking at transfer case replacement As it is currently in the shop. Ford has lived up to its reputation. My neighbors noticed too. They always ask me. Where is the bronco when they don’t see it parked in the driveway… In the shop. After all this, I still love driving it, but it does give me a lot of pain when it’s gone for service. Unfortunately, Ford doesn’t have mechanics anymore. They have bolt on technicians that replace parts, not diagnose and fix things. it’s probably like that at most service centers now. This is my first Ford and likely my last but I’m gonna own this for a long time cause I’ve spent so much time wrenching on it, if you drive it for what it’s built for you’re gonna break it that’s just the way it is.

Ford has NO mechanics whatsoever.

Ford dealers have mechanics. Don't like one dealer? Try another.

I was impressed when the techs diagnosed my brand new Bronco and its Advanced 4x4 problem. They started at the beginning--the battery. And they discovered it was bad. So they replaced it. The problem stayed, so they moved on and continued looking at the problem. That's troubleshooting 101.

Some good techs are still out there. Regardless, this isn't a Ford issue at all.

5600 miles--260 hours run time- most of it is off road and no mechanical issues but satellite radio reception is less than desirable as compared to other vehicles. Lack of leaves on the trees has helped but still cuts in and out a lot.

No issues yet with my 2024 Badlands Manual I got mid March. Only 7000kms (4300 miles) so not a lot of use as it was bike season for past 6 months. Overall pleased & will keep or buy again.

New owner here. Bought a new Big Bend 2.3L, manual trans, soft top a couple weekends ago. Have put almost 500 miles on it (5 on the odo when I test drove it) so far and I love it! Everything works as it should. The engine is smooth, the trans is smooth, and carplay even stays connected to my iphone.

I lurked here on the forum for a month or so before I bought the Bronco and almost decided not to buy one due to the posts on this forum. I know folks are more likely to post when they have issues, but are any of you driving what has been a mostly issues free Bronco? It's hard to tell if the good ones outnumber the problems some times.

Here's a pic from our first weekend of driving around the Texas hill country backroads.

I have a 22 Badlands 2.7 4dr and I've had really no issues from it, minus the windshield cracks and my oem ko2s being slicks before I have hit 34k miles.

2022 Badlands Sasquatch - Only a minor issue with one of the speakers, a loose screw. Other than that, all good.

24k miles on 23 Wildtrak with some 4L off roading. One front differential replaced. No big deal. 46k on 21 OBX HOSS 1.0 zero issues. 4k on another, zero issues. Several other Fords in our herd with zero issues.
