New owner here. Bought a new Big Bend 2.3L, manual trans, soft top a couple weekends ago. Have put almost 500 miles on it (5 on the odo when I test drove it) so far and I love it! Everything works as it should. The engine is smooth, the trans is smooth, and carplay even stays connected to my iphone.

I lurked here on the forum for a month or so before I bought the Bronco and almost decided not to buy one due to the posts on this forum. I know folks are more likely to post when they have issues, but are any of you driving what has been a mostly issues free Bronco? It's hard to tell if the good ones outnumber the problems some times.

Here's a pic from our first weekend of driving around the Texas hill country backroads.

My neighbor's got a 23 2dr WT he's had for a year now and he's not taken it in for anything. I've had a 23 2dr BL for about 20 months and I've had the front top and rear window seals replaced and the pinion seal replaced. Relatively minor really, but it has had warranty work I guess.

Go to any model-specific car forum and you find people having issues, especially if it’s a new model.

I had hoss3.0 shock leak out. Dealer shop manager said he hadn’t seen that yet and it was rare even on this forum.

I had Toyota 86 and while it had zero issues, the forums were full of people with minor issues from when the vehicle was new including a major recall that required significant engine teardown.

2 years and almost 20K miles, only issues have been the wiper slowdown (debating on taking it in because I think the customer satisfaction program is only until December of this year) and I seem to have to reset the windows a lot.

Haven't been ducked yet, THAT would be a serious issue ;)

Had my '23 for a little over a year with no real problems... there are annoyances, like floor heat and some Sync4 wonkiness, but nothing major.

The forums do not represent the big picture--they represent, by and large, only those with problems and those who mod (and then have problems). Yes, plenty of no-problem Broncos exist.

I say that even though I had a day 1 problem with the transfer case, a problem that seems to be not isolated to me by any means. And I suspect many more Broncos exist with this problem that they have not identified, possibly because they never use the feature.

Also remember that the people who post on forums/reddit about their vehicles are the very small minority of total owners. Also factor in that a good portion of the people of those positing only signed up or posted because they have an issue to discuss.

Depends on your definition of “issue”

I have a lot of gripes about Broncos, and my Bronco specifically. And lots of small things that don’t affect its ability to drive, but drove me nuts. That isn’t because I hate the brand or my Bronco - it’s because I care enough about it that I would like to see it get better that I even take the time to care about them.

That said - my Bronco hasn’t failed to get me from Point A to Point B yet - no matter how rediculous or inadvisable that route may be. And it’s a ton of fun along the way. But I have plenty of gripes and small things.

2023 badsquatch that sees some decent wheeling. 2 real issues. One related to stress offroad and one would seem a Eaton issue (supplier to Ford GMC and Chrysler/Jeep). I absolutely love mine. I am a Ford and Bronco particularly guy so my opinion is biased. I've had the stereo issues from the B&O and quite simply ford sexually molested the pooch on that one. 13k on the ODO

I hit the 3 year mark this month with my 2021 Bronco Badlands and have had absolutely zero issues (knock on wood). I've done plenty of light off-roading and average about 10K miles per year. Planning to extend my warranty later today.

Cheers 🍻
